Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We got into town late and the after hours check-in was a breeze. As soon as we got into the house we saw a black bear out of the bedroom window! We were there for three nights and even though we spent a fair amount of time in town, we ended up having three or four bear sightings. The house was clean and there was enough cookware and supplies to support our meal plan while we were there which made it nice to not have to bring those items with us. We had a great view and it felt private even with the other vacation rentals around us. I feel like (in a post-COVID world) the price we paid was on par with the experience, location, and amenities we received.

My kids enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. It is high in the Mountains but gives a perfect view!

Everything from the view of Mt LaConte to the personable treat you as family service you get from Pam and all the staff in the office makes this place our other home but don't tell the owners! We love this spot on the mountain.

The people at Mountain Laurel Chalets were always very helpful and made the stay all the more enjoyable. The cottage was well equipped and in good condition. The view was spectacular. We had to share the hot tub with a bear. The sharing was a bit one side ;).

Unfortunately I never did receive the deposit that I put down. The school I work for has attempted to contact the rental property management company with no response. We would appreciate a response back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved how close to town this was. The road up was a little scary at times but we got used to it after a couple runs. The porch view is why we booked this and it did not disappoint. The cottage itself could use some maintenance - (some floor pieces missing, around the hot tub is missing panels, seems to be a water leak under kitchen sink that had an odor, the couch needs to be replaced ). We were overall pleased though for the time we spent there ! The renting agency was easy to work with.
