The home and property was beautiful. I didn't like that I was informed on the day we were going to check in that the main level bathtub/shower was not working leaving three women having to share the downstairs shower 5 days.
Immaculate and nicely decorated.
Great place; the pictures were very representative of the cabin; my kids loved playing in the river.
Very convenient to many fun places. Lots to do at the house.
The house is nice. There are quite a few steps down to the river below, but the stairs appears to be newly constructed. We couldn't figure out how to correctly adjust the Ecobee thermostats, but the AC worked well, especially downstairs. The shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom was cumbersome, but hot water was readily available. There was plenty of room, and the house appears to be well maintained. I spoke with someone from the management team, and he was kind and responsive.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Was perfect for our family! Great location. Had everything we needed. Very clean. Would definitely recommend or stay again!
We were so happy with our stay! In fact we can't wait to come back! The beds are so comfortable! The kitchen very functional. Sitting arrangements very comfortable. The sound of the running river/creek in the backyard was so relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub, played in the creek, cooked dinner, had a bonfire and roasted marshmallows, & had fun movie nights in front of the fireplace. Coffee in the cool mornings on the decks were wonderful! Location was wonderful and it wasn't hard to find. I'd suggest bringing additional toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, & laundry detergent & trash bags as we ran out of everything with no backups. This truly felt like a home away from home. I can't wait to go back!!!!!! 10 STARS in our book!!!!! Thank you to the host for an amazing stay! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We came up to Boone for the App State game, and stayed Thursday through Sunday. The instructions to get into the property using the keyless entry were great. Be aware that there is a parking area at the edge of the road and a set of stairs to navigate down to the property. My 85 yo mother travelled with us, and we certainly don't expect special access to anything unless it states that, it's just something to be aware of. She did fine with a little help. We could have used instructions on how to use the remotes to the TV rather than taking the time to eventually figure it out. The property is nice and clean, and relies heavily on a Woodsy decorating theme, cozy. The beds are comfortable. The only small main bath upstairs has a big clawfoot tub with wrap around shower curtain, which is quite tall and small when using it to shower. The shower down stairs to the full living area, and fireplace and bedrooms down is a full walk in shower. The views in the fall are beautiful, with a sharp drop off the back of the property to the stream below. Two big porches, hot tub, and firepit, in warmer weather, we would have used all! It was great to have the gas fireplace, even though I prefer a real wood fireplace. In our experience, the GPS ended at the fork in the road and all three of us driving up had some trouble finding the property because of that. The GPS is sketchy in the mountains, and they provided turn by turn instructions, which we needed. They could be a little more detailed right at the end where there is a fork in the road. Especially if driving at night. We also could have used some pillowcases for extra pillows that were provided. Really nice home with spectacular views and fairly easy to get to and from Boone!
Beautiful cabin. Just minutes from Boone. Loves the view of the river. We will be back!!!
This property was perfect from the lodge decor, comfortable beds, and river front access. We really enjoyed our time together. Would highly recommend to friends and family!
