Perfect location. Close to town but Out of town enough to enjoy some quiet time after a busy day. Loved all the decks off the house and the hot tub!! Beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the pool table. Would stay here again!! Amazing place

Wonderful experience. Great house. We counted 23 bears during the week we were here. They are definitely prolific. Would rent this spot again in a heartbeat.

The location can’t be beat, and the chalet is fully equipped with just about everything. The screened in porch on the top floor is a magical place to watch thunderstorms come in over the mountains. Recent updates to the decor added even more comfort.

We stayed here summer 2021 so I am late writing this review. This house is great. Lots of stairs so if that is an issue, be aware. We loved the view on all the levels. Upper loft bedroom was great for us and our teens stayed in the bedroom and family room area on the lower level. Hot tub was great. We did have two issues, but the company came out to fix it within an hour. It is a steep hill to get to the house and while you could walk to town I don’t think I would. Wasn’t an issue for us, but If you are a nervous driver be aware. The best part were the bears! We saw several right through the window. We kept our distance, but really be mindful of the trash. The folks across the street didn’t secure their trash so the bears were having a feast. Kitchen was well appointed and we did eat several meals in the house. I’d def stay here again. It was nice being a little away from all the traffic of downtown.

We had everything we needed to feel comfortable and it was a great central location to activities in Gatlinburg and in Pigeon Forge. The kitchen was fully stocked with essentials for doing some cooking to save on expensive dining options in town. The house has a balcony on every level. The mountains can be viewed from the top floor balcony and is mostly obscured by tree foliage, but still visible. Our young adult/teen-aged children enjoyed using the pool table on the bottom floor of the house. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Smart TVs made it easy to access our streaming accounts with Apple AirPlay and a smart speaker made it easy to play music from our own devices. Almost all of the comforts of home, the owner made it truly a home-away-from-home situation. Travel up to the chalet from town is a bit difficult if you are not used to driving on tiny mountain roads and we arrived at 11pm when those roads were very dark. 4 wheel drive vehicle is extremely helpful as the tiny roads are very steep and there are a few hairpin turns and some are cliff-side. This property was everything and more!! You feel in the woods while just being a short distance from Gatlingburg strip. This cabin was amazing, clean and worth every penny! Oh and bears!!!
