Stayed Aug 1, 2025The cabin was nice, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable.The dock/lake is located across a busy highway that is sometimes difficult to cross. We took 2 fishing charters which were very easy to set up. We enjoyed some meals at a few local establishments. The Lonesome Pine restaurant was our favorite. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This cabin is gorgeous! We had a girls weekend getaway and this cabin was perfect for all the cooking and entertaining! It’s so cozy and comfortable! The beds and bedding are super comfortable! Waking up in the loft and seeing the beautiful view across the lake is stunning! ?

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a great time in this Garrison lodging. The wood throughout was lovely and all was so clean and neat. The view of Mille Lacs Lake was fabulous, and although it was near a main road, it was quiet and restful. We would like to return there next year for our annual family reunion in Aitkin.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I rented the Eagle's Nest cabin for four nights, June 2024. I chose Glowacki's for proximity, price, and the fact that my fur baby could join us. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The fact that we could bring our girl was the biggest drawing point for me. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the utensils, pots, pans, etc. that we needed even though I did bring some of my own stuff that I knew I would need. Ben (owner) was extremely nice and responded to my questions on the launch. He went out of his way to accommodate us for fishing for a few hours which was extremely thoughtful. I'm already looking at renting again when the DNR lifts Walleye restrictions so my 77 year old mother can eat her catch. There is no cleaning of fish or deep frying in the cabin so be forewarned. Since it was catch and release I brought my own fillets so the cleaning wasn't an issue and I do not deep fry in my own house so that did not bother me. Deep frying outside was a little tricky with there being no outlet on the deck that I could find. There is an outlet on the garage/shed behind the unit but I didn't have an extension cord so I used the outlet right outside the front door. The only drawback I could find was the spiral staircase. The steps are smaller so whomever stays upstairs in the loft and master bedroom should be prepared and tread lightly. One last thing, the lake and launch are short walk across Highway 169 so keep that in mind with children and watch your pet(s). I highly recommend Glowacki's and would rent from Ben again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My family and I came to stay at the Eagles Nest cabin, and it was so much fun! From the extremely clean and beautiful cabin, to having fun playing bags, grilling and hanging out, my trip was nothing but perfect. Ben is also awesome, anything you need he will make it happen! I had such a nice time here and I was very sad to leave..... but I look forward to staying here again. I highly recommend this resort. Also, not to mention how easy it was to make a reservation with Evolve and how much information they give you with reminders, very user friendly!
