Cabin was awesome and in a Great location. Cabin was clean and very well stocked. I will definitely be using this cabin in the future.
A wonderful 2 weeks in the pines and seeing the changing aspens.
Great communication from the owners. We had more than enough space for 2 couples. The fire pit was a great addition! Master mattress and living room furniture could use updating.
Very cozy cabin and definitely better than in the pictures! Imagine making a bbq on a balcony overlooking the whole village… Absolutely great location. Cabin has everything you need and even more. Our family enjoyed staying in this cabin a lot!
The kitchen was stocked with everything you’ll need Could use a couple more coffee cups Lol The view is spectacular
We've stayed in Duck Creek before, but this time we went earlier in the year (early May). To our surprised, a lot of the area was still completely buried in snow! Not from the area, I was surprised and apparently they had a winter with over 25 FT of snow. Nothing anyone can do to help that, it is what it is... Anyways, we tried to make the best of it and went hiking in the areas not buried (mainly towards bottom of the mountain). I dug out the firepit from the snow piles so we could use it when we were back at the cabin. All was about as good as could be given the snow circumstances until my wife slipped going down the steep staircase connecting the living area to the master suite upstairs. She ended up with 3 broken bones in her foot/ankle area and needed surgery. All 4 of us in the group slipped/tripped utilizing those stairs because they are very steep and tight. My wife was just the 4th and last person in our group to do so because we had to clear out and head to the hospital and end the trip after only 1.5 days. The property itself was as expected, location as expected and great for those wishing to hike and fish when not snowed in. Just BE CAREFUL when using the stairs.
Wanted a quiet relaxing couple of days and got what I asked for.. the deck was where I spent most of my time reading or staring at the surroundings.. beds, bathrooms, kitchen are all better than expected.. wifi and smart tv were unexpected bonuses.. looking forward to doing it again next year.
We love staying at the cabin! Beautiful views! Enjoyed the firepit too!
Easy and owners where fast to answer any questions I had.
Wonderful place to stay. The owners communicated very well. Would love to stay here again.
We enjoyed our time in the Mountain View Cabin, our family's first time in Utah. Its view of Duck Creek Village is absolutely breathtaking! Snow was abundant and our kids loved sledding down on the small hills just out front. The cabin was clean and was a warm and welcoming retreat from the snow. It’s outfitted with cozy furniture, comfortable beds, soft linens and plush towels. The thermostat-controlled heating throughout the house was just right. Plus it was great to wake up to the amazing views of the creek from the large windows (and off the deck). We did have a couple of hiccups during our stay, however. When we arrived at night, we couldn’t get into the house. The front door code didn’t work and there wasn’t a spare key in the lockbox. It was dark and snowing so that was tough! The property manager was responsive and gave us a new code but we had to wait a bit before we were able to re-enter the new code to get in. The next day, the power went out in the neighborhood in the evening. No flashlights in the cabin; there were tea lights but no holders. We had our phone lights, but we wanted to conserve our batteries since we didn’t know when power would come back. Even with these setbacks, we still had a lovely time. The cabin is equipped with a variety of board games and Netflix to keep us entertained indoors, and the fresh snow provided us with plenty of activity in front of the house. We definitely would like to come back and stay here again!
The view is amazing! The cabin is very well equipped and we would love to stay there again. It was very comfortable and very well equipped. Our family loved our trip here!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Meadow View Heights cabin. Everything was as described in the listing. As everyone else has mentioned, our favorite spot was on the balcony where we were able to witness the beauty of the village and interact with the Steller-Jay birds and the turkeys. So many turkeys, at one point we counted close to 30. It was so fun. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There were 3 different types of coffee pots catering to whatever your preferences are. The bed on the upper floor was the only one we used and it was very comfortable. There was a heated massage chair up there that I sat in for a while and I could see out the big windows. The main floor had a large refrigerator and the other two floors had small refrigerators so you could keep sodas at each level so you didn’t have to use the stairs anymore than required. The internet worked well for our phones and for streaming streaming. Our cell service worked well too. It ranged from 9-13 degrees at night while we were there and between the well stocked fireplace and electric heaters we stayed warm and cozy. We look forward to another visit soon.
I initially booked this cabin because of the picture of the view! It did NOT disappoint but I will add that the rest of the cabin was so beautiful and well appointed the pictures did not do it justice. From the minute we walked in we fell in love with not only the little town but this wonderful cabin and it’s location! We had our two pups with us and they are older so it was nice that main living in on the ground floor (they never had to climb a stair) we spent almost every night on balcony and at fire pit (we only sat inside one rainy night and were treated with an amazing lighting and thunder show) the big glass windows overlooking the valley made for a magical night! The owners were so helpful, I misplaced my info and had to ask a couple Silly questions like how to log on to wi-fi etc. and they were so quick to respond!! If you are considering Duck Creek for a visit and this place is available, book it, you will not be sorry! I’m already looking for dates in December for us to return to see the snow!
Convenient to the national parks!
The view over the meadow from the deck is inspiring. I really liked everything about the place. Totally recommend it.
Do need a good SUV to get to lovely location.
Wildlife abundant in the area. Great location to stay and visit nearby parks.
We enjoyed this property! There was lots space for the family to enjoy time both together and independently. My biggest complaint was the pet hair that seemed to be all over the bedding and towels and caused some allergy issues. We brought our dog who doesn’t shed and with the $100 pet fee we were charged I would’ve hoped for better cleaning. Other than that it was a fun, family getaway!
