All the same, the view off the back deck is quite captivating!
Must be at least 25 years of age to book.
We had a wonderful time! The property was clean and had everything we needed to relax. Kitchen was properly stocked. Hot Tub was hot worked perfectly. Wish there was a manual for the Hot Tub to understand what all the buttons did. We would stay there again!
The place was fantastic except for the old dog smell that hits you when you first walk into the house. Once it was aired out (30-45 min), the place was perfect. A deep clean of the area rugs, and the place would be a 5/5.
The cabin was wonderful. Everything lived up to the hype.
A nice mountain getaway.
A perfect place to stay. The view was amazing
This is a fabulous little find just minutes from Blowing Rock. The views from the back deck are hard to beat! We had a minor issue at check in, as neither of the codes provided to us would open the door. We called property management and they had a new code set up in minutes. Beds have great mattresses, water pressure in shower was spot on. Quiet spot yet still very close to the parkway and town. One minor issue, the hot tub sits beneath some overhanging limbs, and while enjoying it, leaves and debris would blow in. Property should leave a skimmer so guests can remove these items if necessary. All in all, would definitely recommend and should our travels bring us back will definitely consider renting again.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was just me and my husband and it was perfect. Oh
The cabin view was beautiful, the patio area was spacious and the cabin was easily accessible from the main road. However, the hot tub was never able to reach above 99, the indoor tub was not able to fill quickly with HOT water for anyone to use and the cabin felt congested due to all the extra decor and furniture. The bathroom photos online were great, but the water didn’t stay hot and the indoor tub was disappointing to not be functioning correctly.
Everything was amazing. Views and hot tub were great. Only downfall is tub is too large for the hot water heater. I would recommend. And stay again
Everything was great. The views were breathtaking. The jacuzzi inside was awesome, however just took forever to fill up and ran out of hot water. Overall we loved our stay and would return.
Location was far enough out to be away but close enough to town that food delivery was available and trips into town were short. The house itself was great!! Cozy is a great description. All amenities were functional and as described. We would definitely stay again. Overall great stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped. The baseboard heat and fireplace will run you out but opening the doors was super nice. We loved the deck area. Beds were comfy! We did have a little mouse run across the room on our final night. We will be booking this cabin again for next year! Can’t wait to return.
Enjoyed the area. Beautiful hikes. Hot tub was nice. Master bed and pillows uncomfortable. Couch uncomfortable (moo shy). There were lots (dozens) of large flies in the cabin. During the day they weee in the windows. But at night they would come down to the lights in the kitchen and around the oven hood. We must have killed 2 dozen. Nasty. Don’t know how they got in or where they came from. Loved Blowing Rock, but will find another cabin to stay in next time. Had trouble with front door lock initially but the property folks were helpful and responsive.
Great
The cabin was nice and the views were wonderful. Porch furniture was high quality. Kitchen was small so cooking has it's limits. Appliances were new. No washer or dryer. Beds were great. Overall a real nice cabin experience in a quiet setting.
The home looked beautiful in the photos, however, upon arrival, we found that the interior of the home was filthy. There was dust throughout the entire home. Dust on the ceiling fans, dust on the furniture, dust on the portable fans, dust/grime on the counter tops, and dust balls on the bedroom floors. The deck is a MAJOR safety risk. Multiple deck boards were rotted; most were soft; many had holes/slits through the boards and you could see 50ft down to the ground. We refused to walk out on the deck for safety concerns - which was unfortunate, as they view appeared to be beautiful. Multiple rotted board near the hot tub as well - major safety concern. The upstairs sink was dirty and clogged; water did not drain. The house was not supplied with anything. There was no toilet paper at all so we had to make an immediate trip back into town (20 min). Overall, HUGE disappointment as the photos online did not display a true depiction of the condition of the home. City inspector should inspect the deck immediately.
The WiFi did not work but we were ok with that the location was awesome and we will definitely go back
Wonderful view, cute cabin, and comfy beds. Kitchen very lacking in some basics. Not enough glassware, no serving utensils, no mixing spoons, 1 dish towel, kitchen table seats 4, but only 3 placemats. Quite pricey once all of the “fees” are added in. Great deck with a million dollar view
Great experience would stay at this place again
Perfect for a couples weekend away. Early summer the Weather was great so the no AC is sent an issue at all. Best views off the deck of anywhere we have stayed so far. Would book again just for that view! Close to town was a plus too!
We arrived at whispering pines and were immediately impressed by the view and cozy interior. A large deck with more than enough seating and even a jacuzzi! Whilst unpacking we noticed poor cleanliness. Spots and dried up splatters on the floor in the bathroom, greasy spots in the kitchen, and just overal poor cleaning(dust, crumbs, etc.). In the evening we wanted to cook and found a couple of wornout and bent pans ‘thrown’ into the bottom cupboards(not even shelving just lying on the bottom) together with old plastic bags. The pans were practically unusable and the stovetop had seen better days as well(old and wanky heating spirals.) the vent top/hood had countless drops of grease hanging from it. We noticed this because while cooking breakfast i saw a drop fall off into the pan, causing me to look. Verrry unhygienic and just plain nasty. We were looking forward to cooking but the lack of cooking material made this undoable. Also the lack of complete sets of glasses and utensils was quite dissappointing. A total of 4 wineglasses, all different makes. A drawer of knives forks and spoons of all totally different sizes and makes really made it feel like there was no care and it was all just scrapped together. Unfortunately the poor hygiene and materials caused for us to just go out to blowing rock to eat instead of being able to enjoy the cabins view. Overall a great location and good bones, just lack of care and attention. Would not visit again.
Leaving the world behind was what we wanted and what we got. Awesome view and hot tub was able to see the view as well. If you like to cook, it’s limited, but we ate out a lot, which was a part of the fun for us. Bathrooms were very cool as well. Would definitely stay here again
