My husband I specifically looked for a cabin that included a king sized bed and a covered hot tub because the weather was supposed to be perfect for relaxing in the hot tub and we wanted it covered so rain wouldn’t matter. We were happy when we booked this location. Three days before we were to arrive we got an email that the hot tub was broken and would not be available to us for the whole weekend. We attempted to work out an alternate solution, but there was no other option provided to us that didn’t cost more than we already paid (the only one that did meet all criteria was an hour away from Western and they allowed it to book before I even had a chance to talk it over with my husband since they told me about it while we were both at work). After booking we also learned that the gas and electric fireplaces were semi-broke as the remotes do not work. Upon arrival our first evening the gas fireplace in the living room where the only TV is located wouldn’t come on at all. When attempting to call them, the WiFi password provided to us in email and the book did not work. The landline lost connection so many times I lost count. We had to wait around for maintenance to arrive to light the pilot in the fireplace. We knew to bring all of our toiletries but not providing hand soap is a little ridiculous. There were no instructions for locking the door since there wasn’t a key, so another call for maintenance. Frustrating not relaxing.
