The views were definitely breathtaking. We were a family of 4 and it was the perfect size. We would definitely rent it again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very nice. The only problem we encountered was not having toast for breakfast. The toaster was stored on top of the cabinets where we could not reach it. Not able to climb up on the dining room chair and there was no step stool. The road up to the cabin is pretty steep and there were 2 large pot holes, one on the left and one of the right about 50 ft apart that had to be dodged. Finding they were there while focusing on finding the cabin was very jarring.The steep walk up/down the road to find the limited grassy areas for our dog wasn't fun. Needed a walking stick to make sure I didn't fall.

There was only 1 bedroom on the main level. We had two separate parties in our group that needed ground floor bedrooms. It was also lacking soap in multiple bathrooms. The cheap sheets wouldn’t stay on the bed. Also it said there was room for 3 cars in the driveway, this was also untrue. We were barely able to fit 2 cars. Overall, that cabin was not worth the money we paid.

I would like to give some feedback for improvements, there weren’t enough towels for both the hot tub and showers, and when washing the towels that were available the dryer takes hours to get the towels dry. Also the bathtub jets need cleaned, I’m assuming they just aren’t used very often, but when running a bath for my toddler there was a lot of gunk in the water from the jets

However, the property is dated, frustrated that we were not able to use the home theater since we couldn’t ever get it to connect, difficult to use pool table due to the room size being too small, no green space on the property for the dog to use bathroom, the queen size bed in the game room felt dirty and not a good option for our guest...so they opted for the couch and struggled to sleep due the freezer constantly making noise and the kitchen sink kept dripping, coffee table had damage on corners, the floor from upstairs bathroom to bedroom is in bad shape, and no furniture on the front porch. Overall, we were disappointed compared to the previous property we booked in February (lovvved it) and given it was roughly the same cost. We will not book this property again nor recommend it.

The drive up to the cabin is steep with some gnarly potholes so be cautious. We drove in with a crew cab long bed truck and it was a little tight fitting for a large truck like that but we knew how to navigate it amd it's best to pull forward and back into your parking space 😀 all minor things if youre prepared! But the cabin itself was gorgeous and we were able to bring our little Frenchie with us who had the time of his life there too! Elk Springs is amazing with communication and has some of the best, if not the best, customer service Ive dealt with in a long time. Thank you for the memories! 5☆ in EVERY way possible!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the worse cabin in my 30 years of coming to the Smokies. First the entrance to resort is so unkept. The cabin has not been kept up either. Soon as I walked in smell was terrible. Coffee was all over counter and spilled all down cabinets and on floors. Floors not swept or mop. Stove and utilities not clean stove top was not even cleaned. Utilities had grease and dirt on. Every sink dripping or running constantly. Everything was dirty not dust at all. I started itching soon as I walked in. Bedding was terrible actually u could see thru the old sheets. When I looked closer cobwebs going two feet up the wall 4 inches away from the wall. Kitchen chairs full of dust and dried on food. Kitchen cabinets full of dust. The hot tub didn’t work. Grill was terrible. I was ready to leave as soon as I got there we actually left earlier I would not stay in this filthy place. I spent 318. A night on this place . Terrible the rugs were filthy the carpet going to movie room full of dirt so bad it made a black spot all the way down. I will never stay at Elksprings again. I will go back to the resort I normally stay at. This cabin and grounds was like no one had been keeping them up at all. So unhappy and disappointed I was looking so forward to this trip. When I saw cobwebs that bad it was over for me. Don’t stay here at all. They had their chance to clean and they didn’t . I would give it a 0. Funny how all reviews was 5 stars but not true. I truly believe since there not a office to report too , they are just taking your money. Don’t stay here at all. I walked out on 3 rd night.

It would have been nice to know there was only parking for one vehicle. We had to park one of our trucks half in the very steep road. It meant jumping down 2 ft while holding the door up to get out.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in one of the cabins before and enjoyed it very much..This stay was very disappointing and an inconvenience to say the least. The hot tub and other tubs were not cleaned u could see the dirt the couch had something spilled on it the movie theater directions were incorrect. We had a sit and wait for someone to come finish cleaning and then come again to show us how to use the movie theater because the instructions were wrong and incorrect. The internet was not working so that had to be fixed.The breathtaking view was at the front door..The views from the decks were blocked by over grown trees.
