Lived the view of lake and fishing opportunity!
Location was absolutely beautiful, had all amenities described. Main bed was a little rough but we could deal with it. The only big issue we had was that there were a good amount of dead/dying flys. I'm not sure if a bug bomb was used just before we came, but I was cleaning up dead bugs on the carpet for the whole trip. That was a small issue however.
Perfect getaway for peace and quiet. Nice having WiFi available. Big kitchen. Loved having a wood fireplace inside the cabin, especially when the weather prevented having a fire outdoors. Both beds were quite firm. Shower was small but clean. Liked the handheld showerhead with adjustable sprayer.
I loved how it's located right on the lake. While you see other cabins across the lake it feels very private. A wonderful place for a couple to getaway from world. Definitely will stay here again!!!!!
Was a good stay, we explored the area more than at the cabin. Could have the updated air conditioning unit. But fans helped a lot.
Beautiful piece of property on a quiet secluded lake. House could use a little updating but was clean and comfortable. There is a window air conditioning unit in the bedroom but could use one in the family room. Very convenient to eagle river and minocqua.
Our kids loved it! The paddle boat and row boat were perfect for going out on the lake. The shower is a little small if you’re a larger person and the temp was always hot or cold not in between. The house temp was hard to keep at a comfortable setting but overall was fine for us. The cottage is the perfect size for a family of 4 or even more. Lots of things to do in downtown Eagle River closed after Labor Day- something to keep in mind when booking.
Long Lake is quiet and peaceful. The backyard at this location is great to spend all your time outdoors! Mosquitos were terrible tho, it would’ve been nice if the company sprayed the area to limit it, making it more pleasant to be outside. Also, the outside was not picked up/cleaned by previous renters or the company (collected about 20 bottle caps, spent fireworks, and water bottles). The cabin itself offers no room privacy (neither bedroom has an actual door, and the small bedroom has no actual ceiling), and it gets hot in there during the day! This cabin is located half way between two big cities for all the touristy needs! It is not worth the expensive fees on top of the rental fee.
Property could use more items in the kitchen such as utensils and Tupperware. Dock is very narrow so challenging for a few to fish from the dock.
Beautiful views, and a very relaxing getaway.
The location of this place was key to get away from it all. The lake was nice and calm in the evening. We enjoyed stargazing at night and listening to the loons from a distance. This property has amazing potential and we hope to be back to make more memories. There is a window AC in the main bedroom and we got the cabin cool after the first two nights. It was a mission of ours to see how we could get it as cool as possible. House could benefit from another unit in the second bedroom to help with airflow and then I'm sure it would be a perfect cool! The lawn area by the lake could be maintained alittle better and then could be utilized more. It was buggy but brought something which kept the bugs at bay. My daughter had an amazing time fishing from the dock with her dad. We would have sat out there more of the dock was alittle bigger, but the deck outside the cabin was out main hangout. Great area, Close to Eagle River and just a good spot for day trips to little towns! Thank you for great memories!!
My husband, dog, and I booked this cabin a little last minute. It was pretty pricy but offered a large home, private dock on a lake, and no disruptions. Great wifi and a large kitchen. The problems: no grill or grate to cook on the property, hot water heater needs serious adjustment, and no AC! I swore that wasn’t listened upon my initial booking. Maintenance called us on our last day and told us they finally got approval to install window ac but at that point we had already braved 95 degree days and nights in the sauna. Maybe pick up the phone quicker next time owners! That really made those days miserable and not worth almost 900$ for 4 nights.
This quaint cabin is a perfect peaceful getaway! The setting is beautiful, the cabin is well stocked, the lake is small and quiet, and a great way to get in touch with nature! If you love dragonflies, birds, and butterflies this is the place to be! The cabin does get pretty warm and stuffy during the day, but there are plenty of fans available to move the air.
This property was perfect for me. I stayed for 3 nights and only had to go out once to pick up some food. I spent my time in the peace and quiet praying and studying the armor of God. I could not of imagined a better way to spend my time alone with the Lord.
Not having air conditioning during hotter weather was very dissapointing. We were supplied with window fans, but that wasn't enough at times. We also had numerous carpenter ants in the cottage which was also a concern. These ants if not taken care of proffesonaly will destroy the cabin. We did witness the deck and cabin being damaged by these. The other complaint was the hot water to the kitchen sink and shower taking so long to get hot. We did like our stay, but for over 1500.00 for the week out seemed things could have been better. We hope the concerns do get addressed because it is a nice place.
Very relaxing place to stay, for a few days or a week.. Good amenities, comfortable “home” feeling, and great views of the lake from several loacations.. A Perfect place to get-a-way from the hustle of life.. We’ll be back!!
