Loved the location and how the property was so private. We had a wonderful stay and wish time did not go by so fast. The porch off the sliding glass door side needs some tlc the boards are a little rotten. The dock needs some repair too but we had a great time and will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for letting us rent your unique cabin.?
The accommodation is well worth it for the location, wonderful. Unfortunately, it has not been maintained: the interior is uncomfortable, the stoves need changing, the electrical heater doesn't work, there are no cushion protectors for three out of 4 cushions, plaids covered with animal hairs. It is in needs for a big cleaning. Vacasa should either halve the rental price or renovate so that the it is justified.
There were lots of positives about the camp. The location, the view, and the beach area. Full disclosure that I normally book 'fancier' lodging but I come from a family of campers so take this as you will. The camp was clean and nice but the furniture while campy in the photos, is more than ready to be replaced. Would I stay again? - yes.
Working with Vacasa was great. We received directions and lots of communication in a timely fashion. Having a washer/dryer was wonderful as it rained each day we were there with the exception of one. It was incredibly quiet and wonderful to be at the end of the little road with our own cove and private beach. However, we did spend evenings in the camp and rainy points during the day. The interior was not comfortable. As others have put in their comments, the furniture REALLY needs to be updated. The couch is unusable. One end sinks through to the floor. I can't imagine having more than two people at time. The remaining chairs are not particularly comfortable and are so incredibly old. Small things like replacing the living room furniture (even with updated used), having more than two plastic chairs around the fire pit, maybe something to start the fire with, would be game changers.
View was amazing, lake right down the hill was really nice. No cell reception or wifi was great as well. Could definitely use some upgrades (such as furniture) and a deep clean over all, seeing how there are quite a bit of cobwebs and dust. You won't hate it that's for sure.
We enjoyed our stay, especially the wonderful shore walks, bedroom in the trees tops, and very peaceful. The Living Room furniture is rather funky and fun, but the couch really needs to be replaced. Loved all the updates made to the cabin. The great amount of work that has gone into updating this cottage is obvious. Kudos to the people that have worked so hard to update this property!
Nice rustic cabin! Great spot to go and unplug for the weekend!
Everything we needed was there The dogs enjoyed the lake and we did some hiking around the area. Rain was not a deterrent to us having fires almost every night and sounded wonderful on the metal roof.
The cabin was clean, private and the view was amazing. We had the whole beach to ourselvesโฆWe including our dog had a wonderful time. Glad we brought drinking water โฆ.
Property was clean, well cared for and very accommodating. I would however say that the sleeping of 4 people may be a stretch as both beds are in the same room with one being a Futon
Stepping into the cabin was like walking into Grandpa and Grandma's place!!! It was a much needed beak from technology and all the chaos that usually surrounds us! The cabin has everything you could need in the kitchen, lot's of extra blankets/sheets and the TV/DVD player was the best. We enjoyed watching the National Parks DVD's provided and I also scored a handwritten blueberry muffin recipe (took a pic, left the recipe). We'll be back!!!
