Dog-friendly home with private hot tub, pool table & mountain views

My husband and I took our first kids free get away In 5 years. Due to the weather the previous weekend we changed our designation to Helen, GA. We were NOT DISAPPOINTED with this home at all. The home was very easy to get to, the neighboring house, while they were a little closer than we wanted, the area was very quiet and peaceful. The house was very clean and identical to the pictures that were provided. The only thing that we were not aware of, was that VACASA was the property management company and ended up having to call because I received emails from both VRBO and VACASA, but no issues after finding out this information. We only wish we would have stayed longer.

Cleaning needs more attention. Windows have dead bugs in between window sills. Windows were dirty. Cob webs on fans, chandeliers, door ways. Counter top and appliance look and felt like they were cleaned with a dirty cloth.bathroom floor was very dirty. A/C vent dirty. Spiders inside and out, and a live roach in upstairs bathroom. Disposing of garbage is an inconvenience to drive to trash bins.

The cabin was very spacious and beautiful. The pool table was a definite plus!

We had a couple minute issues with the hot tub jets, and the AC not working one night, but the local Vacasa crew was very responsive, and fixed them in a reasonable time frame. The house was spotless when we arrived. Cleanliness could not be better! The panoramic view is a little misleading, as your view is limited to about 50 yards in any direction, by trees and adjacent properties. We very much enjoyed our stay, enjoyed all interaction with the local Vacasa staff, and would not hesitate to stay there again.

We booked Panoramic View Cabin in Santee Nachoohee, Ga. for four nights. Upon arriving at the cabin, it was amazing. The layout was great. Amenities were as advertised for the most part. We enjoyed the views as well. This cabin had almost everything you could ever imagine needing on site. There were a few things we didn't care for. The worst paper products I have ever used. Only one small roll of paper towels and several rolls of toilet paper that were all not pleasant to use. At this price point, 476/night, we expected more. Could not use washer and dryer without having to move a couple of roll away beds and other miscellaneous items. We brought steaks and chicken to grill on the provided grill listed in the amenities. I even messaged to make sure that the grill was in working order. It had no propane gas. The center table fire pit had no propane gas as well. The cleanliness of this cabin came into question as we started to prepare food, shower, and get ready for bed. There were bowls and other items that still had food on them but put in the cabinet as clean and ready for use. The shower has pubic hair in the floor of the upstairs shower. The linens were not soft at all. Like drying off with a rug.The bed, when we pulled the bedspread back, looked as if someone had sat or laid on the bed previously. Glad we always bring our on sheets and pillows. All of was tolerable as we inquired about staying an additional night. We didn't due to Vacasa wanting to charge extra fees. A

Great place, fully stocked cabin, grill, fire place, fire pit, pool table and jacuzzi only thing missing was the snow!

Loved the home, great area, very close to the city of Helen, beautiful views, easy to walk the Neiborhood around with dogs and small children. Would recommend anyone looking to have a quite time in a great cabin, this is a great place!

Spent a few days taking in the leaves changing through the area. Home had all we needed!

Cabin was beautiful in a quiet area. Had some minor issues that I made multiple attempts in contacting the property mgt company, Vacasa in hopes of getting some help with, but they told me someone would be reaching out to me. This went on for 2 days without any one calling me or offering to troubleshoot said issues or even trying to resolve any of the issues we had. I wouldn't recommend this cabin because they were impossible to communicate with. Thank God we didn't come into a safety issue because we'd die waiting on them to fix anything. Very disappointing given the amount of $ we paid to stay here.

The quietness and beauty of the home

The house is gorgeous. The views in the mornings were beautiful. I will return for pleasure so that I can fully enjoy the cabin. This is a great place to stay when you are in Helen, Georgia or surrounding areas.
