Stayed Jul 2, 2025It makes such a difference who your rental company is and we always use Mountain Laurel chalets through VRBO when in Gatlinburg. The first night our top floor AC was totally broken-- they had a repairman out by 10 am who fixed it. Our ice maker was broken and unrepairable-- so they delivered a bag of ice to us every morning. You have to assume things will go wrong; the difference is how great the customer service is to remedy matters. This company gets an A. And they were super helpful and communicative for all the months leading up to our rental dates. The house itself was perfect and beautiful.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year staying here, it’s perfect everyone has own bathroom and we seen three sets of moma and cub bears every day right in front of our cars and next door. Only downside would be the main bedroom can hear everything in the living room and kitchen, so that room is not very private. The location is just perfect, no traffic and easy access to Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg.

Reviewer Comments: I need to apologize we had 3 chalets Shelet De Dawn 2 was was High Five the upstairs air went out our last 2days, and boy was it hot.The air couldn’t be fixed before we left.We could have used some comfortable furniture in the pool table room to enjoy the large screen tv.

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed with Mountain Laurel Chalets for the last 22 years. This trip we decided to take some extended family with us. This home was absolutely perfect for that! The parking is flat and nice for older visitors and those that may have some hard time with inclines. There is a bedroom suite on the main level, which also was great for our older visitors with some issues with steps. Two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms on the lower level were ideal for privacy for everyone. The kitchen was large and stocked full of cookware, storage containers, etc. The decks were great and held stunning views. There is construction going on nearby, but that is pretty much everywhere on the mountain at this point. It was not very disrupting, but we are fairly early risers. This cabin was a great choice for our party of 7, and would accommodate up to 10 comfortably. We would definitely recommend this to others!

Beautifully decorated and very spacious. The staff in the office are extremely nice. We even had the pleasure of seeing a baby bear.
