The only way to make your ski retreat to Southwest Colorado better is to have a cozy cabin to return to after a long day. That's exactly what you'll find here at Antelope Cabin - along with a basic kitchen, entertainment, and a dog-friendly attitude so the whole family can enjoy a memorable winter escape.
Located in the quaint town of South Forks, you'll have easy access to the Wolf Creek Ski Area less than 20 miles down the road for opportunities to ski and snowshoe in winter, as well as hiking, biking, kayaking, and more in warmer months. A handful of stores and eateries nearby make this location especially convenient.
When you're ready for a break from the outdoors, sip coffee or a steaming beverage in front of the wood-burning Malm fireplace, then prepare a hearty meal in the kitchen. A gas grill and picnic table are great for eating outdoors in the summer, and your dog will love playing fetch out here, as well (please note a small, nightly pet fee). Watch a movie on the flatscreen TV or check your email using the free WiFi.
Just because you're on vacation doesn't mean you can't have all the conveniences of home - book this cozy log cabin today!
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 1.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) Cabin was comfortable and had the basics. That being said, heat did not easily disperse throughout the cabin. Beds were comfortable, but bedrooms were cold if you did not leave the doors open all day and night. Some basic kitchen items were missing that I feel should have been available (scissors, baking sheet or dish, cooking oil). Cabin was clean.
Very tidy, well equipped two bedroom. Quiet, centrally located location. Very well stocked with towels, soaps, kitchen equipment, shampoos, etc. Cozy. Abundant Wilde life ;-)
We're a family of 6, 4 adults and 2 kids, it was perfect size for us. Quiet and peaceful. We plan to stop by and stay again.
Cabin was great. Very quiet at night. Plenty of parking. The layout is nice. Even the towels are soft. Would add a additional roll of toilet paper for our size family tho,,, other than that,,, GREAT
It was very clean, roomey & just perfect for our short stay at a great price! Great location w/all the amenities we needed! Enjoyed walking just down the road to the pizzeria which I highly recommend also! Will definitely stay here again!
The cabin was very nice, and I appreciated that the fact it was called cabin online meant it wasn't part of those Lodges connected together. Honestly I rented the cabin because it had a picture of a hot tub and trees all around... When I got there it was like a hotel room with logs on the outside, and just like a hotel there was tons of people all around.
Everything was clean and in order. Fireplace worked well, hot tub was amazing!
The cabin had a homey-feel. Lot's of towels, pillows and warm blankets. The location was in walking distance to a fantastic pizza place and a Dollar General.
Cabin worked well for us. It's not fancy but it has everything you need. Plenty of towels and bedding. We brought our own food and used the kitchen which was stocked with everything we needed. Trash bags, dish soap, paper towels, salt & pepper and coffee filters. There is a wood burning fireplace which we did not use. It was a bit chilly inside even with the heat on so the fireplace would have helped keep it warmer. Plenty of HOT water. It was close to the trash dumpster which did not bother us. Nice set up for the little time that we spent there.
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Beds were great. Only downside was hot tub was unavailable for use.
