Great cabin, dishes were sparkly clean. Property well maintained. Nature all around and great views. The covered bridge on the way in is a nice bonus

We loved the location, and the privacy of the cabin. It was very clean and comfortable, had everything you need. The only thing that would have made it better would be if it had a hot tub, but it wasn't a must have.

No Grill utensils- bring your own if you plan to use the grill. Garbage must be taken to local fire station and you pay to use their designated dumpster. Beautiful and quiet location.

The cabin was cozy. But the road to and from was like taking your life in your hands. We also had to purchase some toilet paper as a souvenir from Elijay as the supplies were very skimpy. On our second day there we had to call someone to come out and adjust the heater as the cabin was very cold. We will NOT be back.

I recently stayed at this property for three nights while I was hiking in the north Georgia mountains. Here are my thoughts: the property itself is quite nice. A nice front porch perfect for relaxing in a rocking chair. The inside was very clean, and looked to be quite comfortable. The bed was clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed sleeping on it and slept well. Had issues with the Wi-Fi, they had a new router and a password, but evidently they had not chosen to update it with Vicasa. It took over 24 hours to get that straightened out. I could not get the TV to work, it kept saying it had a weak signal. After the Wi-Fi was fixed it was really not an issue for me. The road is a real problem. if you do not have a four-wheel-drive or an all-wheel-drive vehicle I would not recommend trying to drive it. It is extraordinarily dusty, and it’s not wide enough in places for two vehicles to pass each other. I had a major issue trying to get back up with a large pick up truck was coming down. I spun out and had to get some assistance from the driver of the truck. Fortunately, we were able to get that done. I think that it’s probably too far out of town for folks who want to go in and out. I would not stay here again because of the road.

I booked this little cabin for myself and my husband for a weekend getaway. (we have been to this area before) The cabin was very cute and clean. I isn't very big but it was just the two of us and our dog. It wasn't too far located from the things we wanted to do, but it was far enough away to feel like you were off to yourself. There were other cabins fairly close but there was still plenty of privacy. I would defiantly stay in this cabin again.

I didn’t stay at this property. I booked this property in July and was looking forward to a relaxing vacation. After driving 8-9 hours from Fla to Ellijay Ga only to find a dirt gravel road which climbed up a mountain that had a cliff on one side of the road and a rock wall on the other which continued to the property concerned me. As soon as I arrived in the driveway I called Vacasa who was handling the property and explained my concerns. I was told by a young lady that there wasn’t anything she could do and then hung up on me. I had to make a decision to stay where I didn’t feel safe or head back down to the main road and get a hotel that accepted two dogs before it got dark. I was hoping to straighten things out the next day. Once again down the mountain on this road I went only to have a car coming in the opposite direction. We almost side swiped each other trying to avoid going down the cliff. No where in the property description did I see anything regarding these type of roads. If it had been there I would have chosen a property in town. The next day I called VRBO who got Vacasa on the line for me to speak with again . Once again -I was told that there wasn’t anything they could do. I was told it was my fault since I didn’t look at the map leading to the property -which I did do . The map doesn’t state what type of roads lead up to this property just names. I expected more support on my behalf from VRBO which didn’t happen. Im very disappointed in all of this.

Overall good trip. Cabin was clean place was quiet. Everything I needed cabin already had. Really enjoyed the serenity of overall experience. If you want to get away from normal life and hide away in the mountains this is the perfect place to do. Being minutes away from practically everything you need stores ,restaurants, places to tour and visit. just 10 minute drive down the mountain and minutes away from everything.
