Real clean out in the woods no one around i would rent it out again
We loved the location, and the privacy of the cabin. It was very clean and comfortable, had everything you need. The only thing that would have made it better would be if it had a hot tub, but it wasn't a must have.
The number one thing I enjoyed about this cabin was the nature & its woodsy style. As someone who grew up in North GA then moving to the surrounding Atlanta area, I missed the woods and mountains. Once my partner & I got there, the cabin was freezing! We could not figure out how to use the gas heater or the gas fireplace. So, we had to go to the nearby Walmart & purchase a space heater. In addition, when we got there, there were multiple bags of garbage outside the front door. However, about a day later, someone came by to take them. Lastly, on our last day, we did not know what to do with our garbage bags. The binder stated to leave them outside the door, however, above the trashcan were instructions about taking the bags to a local disposal place. Despite the little things, we still enjoyed our stay greatly! Thank you Vacasa!
The size and open concept layout made this cabin a great place to stay. We enjoyed the fireplace which was easy to operate and made a rainy weekend cozier. There were also plenty of games and books had we wanted to take advantage of those. It was also nice that there were extra bathroom towels(sometimes an issue with rentals.) The kitchen, however, was not that well stocked and had we wanted to really utilize it that might have been an issue. Also there was an odd smell in the cabin but we bought air freshener and that improved. We definitely would stay there again and very thankful our little rescue dog could join us.
Cabin was perfect, clean and comfortable. Secluded with good views, plan on a slow drive from the main road. We will be back!
I loved the fireplace!! It was really nice. All wood cabins are the best. Thank you?
Cute Cabin. It is a great getaway.
It was nice and quiet, very cozy. It was just the two of us and we really enjoyed the property.
My husband and I loved the quietness! It was just a perfect place for us to stay with our little ?. We wanted to stay forever. The only thing we missed was a clock on the wall, but we had our cell phones. Great little cabin.
Serine & peaceful place , came back energized and happy, I will return in winter ?❤️
Property full of healthy and safety hazzards. Black mold throughout especially in the bathroom. Faulty electrical including twist tided on cirtuct breakers. Vacasa refused a relocation, stating no abalible properties. Initially denied a refund. Eventually they offered a relocation, but we found somewhere else not full of black mold to stay. Since we were already informed they had no avaliable other properties. They only gave a partial refund becasue we denied relocation. Horrible communication system in place with vacasa, the customer, and the local team. And quite frankly they are dishonest.
Wonderful cozy cabin and very close to everything. There were beautiful deer on the mountains so be careful as you drive. And plenty of fireflies to see as dusk began. It was magical! Vacasa sent us the wrong check in instructions so I had to call them. That was a little stressful because we got there just before dark, but we were eventually able to get in. Just want owner and other renters aware of that in case it happens again. Would highly recommend this little gem in the woods!
Nice clean cabin. Near everything.
We were in the area looking to buy property for our own vacation house. The town of Ellijay is such a great place. River St tavern has a great beer selection and the food was amazing. We walked around downtown and visited several little shops, grabbed coffee and checked out the Christmas tree. The location is close to everything! I highly recommend this cabin for a quiet getaway, that is still full of fun!
Clean and quiet cozy cabin ❤️
Beautiful area, no real traffic, in the woods and far apart from houses enough to feel alone. If you need privacy from your other guests in the second bedroom, don’t go in the heat of the summer. It has one unit in the kitchen/den and doesn’t go to the bedrooms with the doors closed. Beware that you were paying $100 in extra charges per day, not sure if this cabin was worth it. Blinds on the bigger windows including the bedroom did not work so it was very bright early in the morning and had to use a blanket. Bring your own bathroom supplies including soap and toilet paper. If you’re staying for more than a couple of days you’ll need it. The couch is awful! Sit at your own risk I ended up having hip and back spasms. Like the other Vacasa property I stayed at on Sugar Mountain, NC; The cabin felt forgotten by its owners with lots of discards and old stuff. It did not feel actively cared for. It’s as if the owners are tired of being actual VRBO‘s so they let a corporation take over and leave it as is. It advertised $63 a night, after costs it was over 163 a night. Not worth that amount of money. The cabin just wasn’t that comfortable.
As described. Saw lots of deer. Enjoyed firepit, gas fireplace, rocking chairs. Kitchen adequately stocked. Beds were comfortable, electric recliner also comfortable. Thanks for a nice home away from home.
Really wonderful time. Everyone enjoyed it
Loved the quiet, enjoyed watching the deers and red foxes. Very cozy, clean and comfortable. Road was treacherous, curvy and narrow
Lovely, well appointed cabin minutes from Elijay & the numerous apple farms in the area. Not that private, but peaceful surrounded by thick forest.
Quite… peaceful… Beautiful scenery… clean
Very cozy & quiet - perfect for us
We will back asap ?
Cozy the recliner beds shower and that brown soap!! Loved it. Deers we're great!
We had a wonderful stay here. The side porch was a nice spot to relax, read a book and watch all the birds stop and fly by on the many tree varieties around. Managed to even get a lovely view of the sunset on the horizon.
I went up to this cabin for a Solo self-care retreat and I couldn’t be happier with my vacation stay. The silence and serenity of the forest combined with the cozy comforts of the cabin made for an extremely relaxing week. It also gave me some alone time for the first time in six years and some good peace of mind. Would definitely stay here again.
