We stayed here during Thanksgiving and it was perfect for my wife and I and our little daughter. Access was easy and Cammie made sure she was available for questions and was very helpful. Loved the little cozy cabin!
Wife and decided to take a last-minute trip on the weekend of 10/20-10/22. Noted the home was not available and contacted the host. Cammie was very accommodating and allowed us the stay the weekend. We did some hiking and fishing near the home and also on the middle fork up near Kennedy Meadows. As expected we had a nice time and appreciated staying there. Suggestion, there is a dvd and VCR player so bring a movie with you. There are dvd and vcr movies there but most are children's movies. Thank you Cammie.
Spent a weekend at the Strawberry Cabin. We were hiking and fishing farther up 108. It was a nice place to come back to and unwind and relax. There was a storm that came through and the power shut off for the night in the entire neighborhood so just in case bring some flashlights or battery lantern. Even with the power off we used the gas bbq to cook our breakfast and heat water for coffee in the morning. We will definitely consider returning again. Host Cammie was very good with all communications.
Many issues; poorly maintained; living room lighting so dim that reading is not possible. Dark walls and only 5 low wattage lamps 2 of which did not function (Broken stem switch on one. Deck useless in summer after 10am; no shade. Ad suggests near river; not so at all. Obvious there is no cleaning service between guests even though a fee is assessed.
Charming cabin in nature.
We enjoy the stay very much. Communication with owner was smooth and efficient.
Great mountain cabin and Cammie went out of her way to accommodate us. Great time!
Cute little Strawberry House. The pros: Great location, walk in distance to the Stanislaus River, Strawberry market and inn. 5 min drive to Dodge Ridge and Pine Crest Lake. It covers all your basic needs. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking if you bring your own groceries. The cons: No Internet and poor phone reception, so you will not be able to work remotely from the house if you need to. You can use Internet at the Strawberry Market or the Strawberry Inn. You need to bring your bed sheets and towels and take your own garbage with you.
Everything about our stay was wonderful from check in to checkout. Location is great, short walk to an active trout stream. Communication with host AAA++.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, however, the interior mechanisms of the gas bbq were rotted out. Luckily we had our portable gas bbq on us we were able to grill on. Otherwise, it was a nice place, adequate to our needs. We enjoyed watching the VHS tapes with our grandkids. Very homey and sweet cabin.
My Wife & I had a great extended weekend getaway! We made several day-trips to Pinecrest, Dardenelle, Brightman Flats, & Clark's Fork. We hiked, fished, ate, napped, & soaked-up all of the fresh air & beautiful scenery that we could. Cammie is a great Host, very responsive & considerate. We will definitely return!
Wonderful location & great communication. Happy with our stay.
This was our second tune in Cammie’s cabin. Our trip was cut short by wildfire smoke, but Cammie couldn’t have been nicer to deal with. The cabin is really comfortable and so close to the river We’ll be back.
Enjoyed a few days at the cabin with our family. Dated, but fits the rustic cabin in the woods vibe. Good communication with the property manager. Cabin has essentials and was comfortable after spending the day hiking, fishing, and lounging at Pincrest Lake.
