Stayed Jun 8, 2024My best friend and I celebrated our birthdays at this lovely cabin. Marie is wonderful and very accommodating, and her Border Collies were a great addition with their occasional visits (bring doggie cookies!) The hummingbirds we’re a joy to watch, it is such a peaceful place and nice getaway.

Stayed Jul 12, 2024The cabin was exactly as described with everything you might need to cook with. It's only 4 miles from the highway, but you feel a lot more remote because of the privacy and rustic decor...Hummingbirds, blue berries and porch time. Bryson City and train rides an hour away. Convenient to Asheville as well. Marie is great host. Highly Recommend.

Stayed Jul 4, 2024The Star Haven Lodge was just like the pictures depicted. Loved the creaky floors and hillbilly hot tub. It was cozy! A few of the dishes we used needed rewashing, the outdoor tub needed cleaning before we could use it, and the grill wasn’t cleaned from the previous guests. Otherwise, our stay was great!!

Stayed Jun 21, 2024What a wonderful stay at the little cabin! Quiet and secluded for perfect coffee and breakfast on the porch. Kitchen has everything you will need to cook in and you’re close enough to Asheville to head into town. Marie is a wonderful host and Princess on the porch to meet us when we checked in was a great touch. Highly recommend this cabin. The updates with AC and washer and dryer are great.
