The cabin was just as described, great location outside of Ruidoso. Has everything you need, we loved the wild life coming to the back porch. The deer and elk love carrots and apples :)

What stood out the most was how responsive and helpful our host, Stacy, was throughout our stay. The cabin was exactly as described, and the cozy beds and well‑stocked kitchen made everything feel extra comfortable. Overall, the combination of a great host and a warm, welcoming space really made our stay special.

Beautiful place, but if its snowing prepare yourself. You will need chains to get up drive way. The street leading to the home does not get scraped so makes for leaving almost impassable. Lost electricity, they do have a fireplace and gas stove so thats a plus. But if you have a newborn be prepared to not be able to heat bottes if needed.left our stay early due to weather and no electricity. Owner made a complaint to vrbo that we left it unlocked knowing we couldnt lock it without power, because i made her aware of it before leaving. Over all place is nice.

The house was like the pictures, fully stocked with everything anyone might need. We even had deer show up in the backyard and got to feed them. Overall, we had a great time. The hostess answered any questions we had. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Very well stocked kitchen, holiday decorations, comfortable beds and nice sheets and towels. Stacey was very responsive. The kids loved the lofts and toys to play with. Our only recommendation would be a coffee table in the living room for games and puzzles, the dinning room table is small and the only place to eat and do games. Overall we would recommend to friends and would stay again. We walked around alto lake trail in the mornings, went ice skating in Ruidoso and went tubing in Cloudcroft. The house is very comfortable and feels like a home. Thanks for a great stay!

We had the most special week in Ruidoso for my son's senior graduation. The Deer Lover's Paradise is fantastic with scenic views! Ms. Stacy is a wonderful host and was very helpful, especially when we asked to stay an extra night. She made the process as seamless possible. Will be staying again!

This cabin is absolutely amazing to stay at. It’s definitely one of the cleanest I’ve ever been into and super easy to get in touch with the host. Check in and out is a breeze definitely will be staying again here.

Beautiful home and location. Hot tub was a little gross but owner had hot tub cleaned out next day. A/c didn’t work great.

This cabin was a splendid place for our family to stay! It was gorgeous and cozy! It was VERY clean and the hot tub was a huge plus! Our favorite part was getting to see all the wildlife (deer and horses right outside the cabin). The property feels very secluded, but yet easy to get to anything you want to go to! Thanks for an amazing stay!

We were very pleased with location and cabin itself. It made for an idyllic mountain getaway.All good and we hope to return again sometime.

Stacy is an awesome host, and her property is amazing! It has beautiful views and lots of wildlife. We had so many deer and horses stop by right outside the back door! Our kiddos had so much fun getting up close and feeding them apples. The only minor complaint I have is that there was a lot of dog hair on the couches, living room rug, and bedrooms; besides that, everything was perfect. The house is cozy, well stocked, clean, and comfortably fit my family of 9. Definitely stay here for some unforgettable memories! Thank you, Stacy!

This is our first time staying at this property and we loved it. Even our teenage son enjoyed the stay at the property. The wild horses and deer came up on back patio. The house was cozy and exactly as listed. It was quiet and so peaceful and views amazing. This is now our favorite place in Alto. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked our second stay.

This house was so cozy and in a perfect location…it was in a quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife and still a quick drive into town. We were greeted by wild horses, elk, and deer! Very clean, fully equipped, and comfortable for our family. Loved the porch, the hot tub, fireplace, and sunrises/sunsets!

We had a fantastic stay with our family and my sister’s family. The house was beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays, making it feel so warm and festive. We loved the wildlife around the property, the stunning sunrises and sunsets, and how peaceful yet convenient the location was. A truly memorable getaway—can’t wait to return!
