Deep Creek Overlook Cabin HGTV Log Cabin Living WiFi Pool Table Hot Tub King Bed

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! It was clean, and cozy! We woke up to about 8 inches of snow and the property manager was gracious enough to let us stay a few more hours to make sure it was safe to drive down the mountain.

Great view from the rocking chairs on the deck. Very clean and was ready when we arrived. The hot tub was on and ready to be used, there is also a game room with a pool table. Very relaxing and quiet location. I will definitely be booking again and highly recommend. Thanks for a great getaway!

The cabin was in a great location overlooking Deep Creek as well as 5 mins. to Bryson City. The Inside was clean and furnished well. Loved the wrap around porch and the view. The downside to the property was the road is paved in spots but has loose gravel and ruts in other places. the last stretch was a little difficult for our front wheel drive. definitely recommend 4 wheel drive. The exterior had lots of cobwebs on windows so the first thing I did was sweep them off with the broom. The floors creaked really loud which is to be expected in a cabin, I guess. However when someone gets up to go to the bathroom during the night it would wake others up.

The hot tube could have been a little hot but was sufficient..the cabin was excellent..clean...spacious..all the utensils for cooking was a pleasant surprise....the only complaint is that the second floor Creeks real bad..you can hear every foot step made ..but was in excellent shape. Had a great time. Thanks again.

We had a great time and Darrell was always so quick to respond to any questions we had. The view was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed there. The pool table was a bonus as well and we had a great time playing each evening. We would stay here again for sure!

My daughters and I had a great weekend! The master bed was so comfy. House was spotless! Everything worked as if should have worked. No issues with getting into the cabin or finding what we needed while there. Thanks for a great vacation.

The host Darrell was great. Quick to reply back and very accommodating. The house was gorgeous and equipped with everything we needed. We would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Deep Creek Overlook! The YouTube video driving instructions were SO helpful in finding the cabin, house was clean, had everything we needed, and was so close to downtown Bryson City for all of the Christmas activities.

Super friendly and communicative host. Beautiful cabin and area around the cabin. Cabin was fully stocked and fully themed; from the hand soap to the decor. Short drive to GSMR and main shopping area of Bryson City.

The cabin was beautiful. The view was amazing. The convenience to downtown Bryson was a plus. The host was very quick to answer any questions and was kind to make suggestions of places to visit. We will definitely stay here again.

Mountain View very peaceful

This property was great! I will gladly come back to this cabin when in the area again! The trees make for great privacy while having close neighbors. My only issue is that when using the upstairs toilet, the master bedroom toilet will react. It has shot out water when flushing on occasion.

Everything about this place was awesome. Views unmatched. Perfectly quiet. Beds were very comfortable. Shower and bath facilities were above standard.

Great stay and perfect location. The road leading to the cabin can be a little tricky because it’s only one lane for all traffic, but overall we had very few issues. We’ll be back for sure!

The house was in a quiet beautiful location just a short drive from downtown Bryson. The owner was quick to answer any questions we had. You are in the mountains and you do have to drive up hills to get there. It was a beautiful log cabin with a wrap around porch.

Cabin was perfect - roomy but not overly large - comfortable and easy layout to maneuver in for sitting at the table, cooking., watching tv etc. Views from deck were beautiful and calming with the rocking chairs. Hot tub was very clean, warm and inviting. Loved the location - away but yet so close - close to town, eateries, railroad and hiking DeepCrewk waterfalls. if you want a mountain cabin experience- this is it - we even enjoyed the wildlife that were nearby-a wild bobcat was seen in the distance.

My husband and I wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights. We found the cabin exactly as described, and we loved the wrap around deck. Darrell, the owner, was extremely helpful and reached out by phone to walk me through the TV issue I had in Mbr. problem solved in 2 minutes! The MBR on main floor is spacious and the bed very comfy. The pool room downstairs is great if you have family. Sunset was lovely our first night and we watched a thunderstorm across the valley one evening. I had worried about the one lane road, however, we never met another car. there are but 4 total cabins at the top of this road, but they are pretty far apart, so you have complete privacy. We would like to return with our family and fully utilize this beautiful space. Kitchen well stocked, lighting good, and we enjoyed cooking here. The location is spectacular, drive about 1.5 miles to Smoky Mtn Park and hike several trails along the Deer Creek/waterfalls. Be sure to buy a Smokey Mountain parking pass - I got mine online but you can buy at the parking kiosks. We rode the train, and just really enjoyed the area. Hope to return!!

Very big house with nice views, spa, washer/ dryer…perfect for families and friends. Location is very hard to find. Don’t follow GPS instead follow the instructions in the email. Bed linens and towels are old and dated and definitely need an update. I almost didn’t feel like using. Some bed side lamps didn’t work. There was also power cut for one hour the moment we arrived after a long day. Middle of the night something started to beep and I couldn’t figure out what and totally lost sleep.

The property was great, beautiful location, loved the hot tub. Very clean and spacious. There is a leak from the ceiling in the upstairs bathroom corner (it rained a lot the first couple of days we were there) that should be addressed and the air conditioner wasn't working. That wasn't a problem until the last night and the house got up to 77 degrees. Also needs to be addressed before summer.

Was a great time, nice view, great pool room and hot tub. Slept 5 of us comfortably.

We absolutely loved the house and our kids were sad we had to leave. Instead of staying in gatlinburg we wanted to check out Nc and glad we did! Bryson city is a great small town. The stores had everything we needed for dinners in and the chance to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Would highly recommend.

Spent 2 nights with my family for the first weekend of spring break. Place is really nice, from the house itself, to the quality of the furniture, decor, and even silverware. Loved the wraparound deck, and also the pool/game room downstairs. Hope to rent it again for our next Bryson city visit.

We thought the cabin was super cozy. The driveway up was a little steep and I would recommend arriving in the day light. Loved the game room but didn’t necessarily love that it didn’t have an entrance to the main part of the house but since it was just me and my husband it was great. We couldn’t get the TV to work down there but we played music from our phones and enjoyed it just as much. The hot tub needed to be cleaned a bit better and if I was digging for something to complain about maybe a new shower curtain rod down stairs. Some things we LOVED: The view, the fact DoorDash delivers, location to so many attractions (20 mins to casino), THE BED WAS SO COMFORTABLE and the PRICE! Would definitely stay again.

Great Place to stay. It was very clean, and the Mountain View was beautiful. The cabin was is a great location close to town and not far from Cherokee, or Maggie Valley. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! The woodwork is amazing - decorated beautifully!! We would recommend to anyone who asked to definitely stay there- hot tub was hot- beds were comfy- a cozy wonderful mountain retreat! The property manager was excellent - responded to questions quickly and called us on the day of our departure to make sure we got on our way safely- very very happy with our choice to stay rgere

The Deep Creek Overlook cabin was perfect for our family of 5 to retreat from the hustle and bustle of Christmas in Bryson City. It was just close enough to town to make a quick drive to dinner and Polar Express train but far enough away that we felt like we had our own peaceful retreat. We brought a queen sized air mattress for our youngest and it fit snugly in the master bedroom downstairs or it would have fit more comfortably in the upstairs loft with the other 2 beds. Thanks for a great stay- we will be back.

This cabin was a wonderful place to stay in the Fall. This side of the Smokies is much less crowded than Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. For those who want the peace and quiet of nature, this is the place to come. Please note, the approach to the cabin is a little scary the first time up because of the one lane/moderately steep road. However, the owner gives perfect directions and even has a video on how to locate the cabin. The drive up is worth the lovely view! The cabin is well designed and maintained and clean! Bryson City is just a few minutes away with cute shops and places to eat. We very much enjoyed our ride on the GSMR. The Road to Nowhere was worth the time with its beautiful foliage and numerous trails. All in all, this is a great place to stay for those wanting to avoid the hustle and bustle of crowded tourist towns.

My sister celebrated her 70th birthday. We have a very relaxed stay. I truly enjoyed the wrap around porch and rockers especially earky in the morning and late evening. The hot tub was a nice feature but there wereno steps to get into it. The cabin was well stocked

We just stayed one night as we were doing an evening train ride. The house was clean and looked just like it's pictured. My only complaint is that we should have stayed longer!! Great location (very quiet) and the pool table and hot tub were an added plus.

A quick three day trip was perfect and the location very close to downtown Bryson.

The location for this cabin is perfect. Beautiful view of the mountains and sunset, and just a short drive into town. You do NOT need a 4x4 to get here. Be real, you are looking for a cabin in mountains, you are going to have to drive up a hill or 2. This one was easy. Very clean, bed comfy, hot tub delightful and private. Perfect furniture on deck, and pool table was great. Communication with host was super speedy- Will absolutely stay here again next trip

The house was very clean. We were very comfortable. The view was nice. We sat on the back porch a lot.

We had another great stay here at Deep Creek Overlook. We’ve stayed with the kiddos prior, but this was just the two of us for an anniversary celebration. We really enjoy the amenities of the property and its gorgeous view. Lots of privacy and Bryson City and the surrounding area offer a lot of the outdoor options that we love. Will definitely be back later this year!
