We were not at all impressed with this cabin. The bathrooms were clean but everywhere else needs TLC. The microwave was rusted through the bottom. The dishes were chipped in multiple places. Blinds were broken, windows filthy, porch furnishings had to be cleaned before we could use them.We had a good time being together, but wished the cabin had been nicer.

Every year we rent a place in the mountains. This was our first trip to Ellijay,GA. The town is very nice for a small town. The cabin was a bit underwhelming. Tiny kitchen and a BBQ grill that had rusted out burners that made it unusable. We were also very surprised at how far we had to travel on a dirt/gravel road to get to the cabin. On the positive side, it is a great location and m terms of being right on a trout steam. We were able to fish from the deck.

We had such a good experience, great little place for two and even room enough for a couple of kids. We didn’t bring our pet, but we should have – great fenced-in yard, dog bed, and even a jar of doggie treats! Cell reception is so spotty, I wouldn’t rely on it. The position of the cabin is so close to the mountain river you can hear it! We loved staying there and will definitely be back!

Cabin and surrounding views were exactly as indicated in pictures and VRBO listing. It was very clean and even had some doggie amenities that were a nice surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and hope to be back for a longer stay in the fall. PS: We recommend having a vehicle & driver that can climb up and down steep gravel roads.

Absolutely beautiful cabin overlooking the river! So peaceful and secluded, but still easy access to all Elijay has to offer. Communication was very thoughtful and everything was exactly as advertised (or better!) highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful time at River Solace. We came for our honeymoon and left with so many great memories! The property was gorgeous and the cabin was so cute. We loved soaking in the hot tub and building a fire by the River. We will definitely be back! - The Binkley’s

Everything went great from the moment we made our reservations with communications to the day we checked out. The directions provided were spot on and we got there with no trouble. However the road is a little tricky to not because you are driving in the side of the mountains. 😊 once we made it to the Cabin it was sweet and cozy. Music playing and everything was just beautiful ...what I pictured for a log cabin. We were right on the river which was perfect. We ate breakfast in the deck listening to the water streams and all the other outdoor noises. The firepit area was nice and the fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. They were very pet friendly with dog blankets, treats, and poop bags. Just a great place and wish we had a few more days to stay. I will definitely stay again!!!!!!

First and foremost i must give kudos to the property managers and housekeeping! The cabin was immaculate. The property managers were EXCEPTIONAL communicators. The power went out (storms happen up here ;) ) and they reported the outage immediately. They maintained communication throughout until the electricity was restored. So, shout out to you all for superior customer service. Floating on the river during the day and relaxing in the hot tub at night was wonderful. Incredibly relaxing stay. We will ABSOLUTELY be back.

The cabin was clean and the location was quiet. But… as soon as you open the door you get hit with wet dog smell that does not dissipate. We got Lysol and doused the couch but it only worked temporarily. We were unaware that the upstairs bedroom was a loft style, no door. Our friends stayed in the upstairs loft room, & every time they got up to use the bathroom or shower, we woke up in the middle of the night to their foot steps because it sounded like they were in the room with us. No insulation to deafen the sound. Our sleeping was pretty rough- the pillows completely deflate providing no support, and the road to the cabin was pretty bad too (although that’s not their fault). With no reception, I couldn’t reply to the cabin owners txt messages they would send or make phone calls. Only if you are messaging someone with an iPhone can you send messages over WiFi. All in all, we wont stay here again.
