Great communication(s) prior to arrival - My son and I were coming to Soldotna to fish sockeye and cohos on the Kenai River. And, one day out of Homer for halibut/rockfish. Needed a net for the river and totes for the fish both on the river and Homer. Kaylene responded that they had a net and totes for our use and would be left on the porch prior to our arrival. The cabin is comfortable for two people - very comfortable beds, a TV area with chairs and a well stocked kitchen and a gas grill on the porch. The unit is clean. I have stayed at multiple VRBO locations around Soldotna. This one is close to town and fishing spots. I would highly recommend!

The owner showed us a lot of hospitality, and showed us local fishing spots. It was also very clean and efficient. Would stay again!

Very comfy and quiet cabin, perfect for a couple of anglers. We were able to make meals, stay warm and dry, and get plenty of rest. The cabin is a five-minute drive from Soldotna and from public-access fishing along the Kenai River. We’d definitely stay there again.

This cozy little cabin has everything you need for your Alaskan getaway. The cabin decor is very cute and exactly what we were hoping for (especially love the quilts). We cooked a couple of dinners in the cabin, using both the oven and the grill outside. There were some seasons and oils available for use. Everything we needed was available. There was a deep freeze on the porch that we were able to use to place the fish in that we caught while out fishing. There was a heater in the main part of the cabin and in the bathroom (pleasant surprise) and we were comfortable throughout our stay. They also provided drinking water. There was plenty of wood provided to build a fire and we did so on our last evening that we stayed. Homeowners are nearby if needed. If we are back in this area again, we would be happy to come back and stay!

We loved our stay in this cabin. It was in a great location between several different fishing spots on the Kenai River. Hosts are the nicest people you could hope to meet on vacation and very helpful at finding trails, fishing spots and other local attractions!
