Great place, cozy with great amenities. Hot tub, kitchen equipment and distribution of rooms and common places are very nice for a short stay with family and friends.
We loved our stay! We were fortunate to have lots of snow on the property. It was clean, there was plenty of firewood, and the cabin had all the essentials and then some. Hot tub was fabulous and we had no issues with wifi during our stay. We had such a great time and would absolutely recommend for families!
Nice place, but needs a little work. Many details need attention such as hole in the wall from door handle, light bulbs that are out, carpet needs to be cleaned, hot tub cover wasn't on, and internet connection was abysmal.
This cozy log cabin is truly situated in a beautiful location. The forest, firepit, and nearby river are perfect for a family looking to enjoy nature. We had a great time just hanging around the property but the house is also in easy driving distance of great hikes too. Would definitely return!
Great cabin right off highway 2 but you can not hear the traffic thankfully. You hear the river outside and the occasional train going by. We did not see one neighbor the whole time which was amazing. Secluded cabin that is a short walk down to the river. Pros: beds were super comfortable, tons of towels and seating. Hot tub was amazing. Lots of wood you can start a fire with. BBQ was great. Cons: the furniture is nice but a little warn down. Upstairs couch was great and looked newer. I would recommend having some kids cups, plates and utensils. Kitchen spice cabinet needs a little update and some oven mits would be nice, couple more cloth kitchen towels would be recommended. Had a great time and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
We took along a pop-up cover for the hot tub. Another sectional couch or sofa is needed downstairs around the fireplace. Kitchen door lock scrapes your finger as you try to turn it because of a screw. Several repairs are needed on deck and step railings for safety. We had fun and enjoyed the firepit, outdoor grill, and river beach.
We had a great time!! It was a wonderful Log Cabin, very peaceful and short distance to river. ??
Great cabin in the woods. Lucked out with lots of snow. Very pretty and peaceful. Comply beds, well appointed kitchen. The hot tub rounded out the stay!!! Would rent again!!
Great experience, loved our stay! Look forward to coming back for another ski weekend or as a base for local hiking.
The property was exactly as advertised and a perfect fit for our family of four to getaway for a quiet weekend. The kids had the two bedrooms on the main floor, and we took the loft all for ourselves! Lots of thoughtful touches that made traveling easier ... holiday decor, bathroom stool, high chair, sleds and toys (loved the Lincoln Logs). Gorgeous view of mountains and plenty of space to run around outside. You can see neighbors, but it still felt private. Too rainy for fire pit and hot tub as expected in the NW, but we really hope to come back in the summertime. Great all-season appeal to this cabin. Close to a lot of outdoor activities, too.
