This home was perfect for our entire family, including our children and grandchildren to come together for a great time as a family. There are two living areas and a kids' bedroom which allowed everyone enough personal space and plenty of places to gather in as a group or groups. Our family is grateful for the time we were able to spend there.
The cabin was beautiful & well maintained. Only wish that listing were more accurate when stating 4 bathrooms. Should be listed as 2 full & 2 half.
We all enjoyed the clean and spacious cabin which comfortably fit our multi family annual vacation. The large deck was a wonderful place to enjoy morning coffee and evening dinners. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to prepare and serve meals for a large group with “vacation appetites”.
The property met our expectations. Everything was perfect. We definitely will come back next year.
This place is great! Large remodeled house with 2 big living rooms, several bedrooms, new kitchen appliances, grill, sound speakers, etc. Our company of friends stayed here for the New Years and it was very nice. There is plenty of room to be on your own and there are large rooms to get together.
This is a great cabin for you and your extended family. It had plenty of living space - indoors and out. It was easy to get to, but make sure you setup your GPS before - T-Mobile had no cell service in the area, except for a certain spot a few blocks away from the house. The house is easily accessible for those with minor mobility issues. 70yr old was able to get around with a cane. Everything is on the main floor except the 2nd master and two other bedrooms. Only one stair to get from the driveway into the house. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of everything you would typically need and even had ziploc bags, spices and other little things you can appreciate. Owner was very responsive when a breaker tripped in the kitchen - they were able to guide us to reset it easily. Plenty of towels were provided and there was access to a washer/dryer inside which was great. BBQ was hard-plumbed (turn on the valve coming out of the deck for gas) and had bbq tools available. Neighborhood is nice and quiet - kids were able to ride bikes in the court. Looking out from the back deck, we saw deer each day. No garage access, which would be inconvenient in the winter. The beds are all pretty uncomfortable. The kids didn’t mind, but the adults all felt it.
Home was accommodating for our group. Kitchen well stocked and organized. Nice deck and patio furniture. 2 living rooms, both very comfortable. Upstairs had air in each room, temperature was comfortable. Nice bedding and towels. Only negative was the beds could have been more comfortable and downstairs air conditioner didn’t keep kitchen, living rooms, master bedroom and bunk/game room cool. Several fans provide, however very loud.. and still hot downstairs. Great size for our group of 12. Would rent again however at a cooler time of the year.
Our whole family of 14+ a baby stayed 4 nights and it was fabulous. Close to the Calaveras Big Trees, caverns, and a wonderful public lake. A huge roomy log cabin and huge deck where the whole family could spread out, barbecue, eat, and play ping pong. We loved it.
Annual family trip, this time to the mountains. There were 12 of us, ages 1-84. This cabin was perfect for all of us. Spacious inside and large deck. Host supplied everything needed to have a good trip. Comfy beds and great appliances. Contact was responsive and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay!
We stayed for a week at this property and highly recommend it. The house is very large and has two living rooms which was nice for those who wanted to watch t.v. vs. have a conversation/read a book. We had 4 kids with us (ages 1.5 - 8) and they really enjoyed playing outside on the large deck. We also utilized the Blue Lake Springs guest pass everyday. We tried to go to the pool using the country club guest pass, but were told the member needed to be with us. The Blue Lake Springs pool was great though and we enjoyed the Fly-in Acres lake. The kitchen is fully stocked and all new appliances. We will return if we have another trip to Arnold!
This home was an absolute gem. There were five couples and there was plenty of room for all of us to visit, eat together an cook together but also with two separate living areas, there was also room for those who wanted to watch TV to do so without bothering those who preferred to read or engage in quiet conversation. Everyone agreed that this exceeded our expectations in just about every way. Some of us brought pots, pans, knives and other household equipment with us and most of it stayed in our cars, as the house was very well equipped with just about every piece of cooking equipment and utensils that you could need. And the local property contact -- April -- was terrific, too. I had asked her a week or so before our arrival if she would take a picture of the pantry staples that were already there (sugar, salt, pepper, etc.) so we wouldn't have to bring or buy things for the trip that were already there. She gladly obliged, which was very helpful, too. The spring weather was unseasonably cold until the last day, so we didn't get to enjoy the deck, but if it was more spring-like, that would have given us yet another place to mingle and enjoy the trees, birds and mountain air.
