Stay was excellent and cabin was exactly as described. Would definitely stay again. Fair warning and its stated in the listing. Please make sure you are traveling by truck or SUV because there is a pretty sizeable creek you need to cross to get to the cabin. We were in a Suburban so we were fine but no way you can cross it in a smaller vehicle.

Beautiful property. It would be very difficult for a handicapp person to get to the door of the canbin.

Group of military friends/family getting together to celebrate my 30th birthday. The cabin was perfect and offered great amenities (hot tub and sauna were a hit adter hikes during the day). All the rooms were comfortable and clean. We had a great stay.

Clean, private, close to Helen and fishing and dog friendly.Very relaxing cabin whether you want to sip some local wine in a rocking chair on the wrap around porch, rejuvinate your muscles in the hot tub or sauna, or just relax by the fire pit in the evening.Bear sightings possible so be aware and prepared.Kitchen is smaller than it appears, but is well equiped for cooking.Check in and out was super easy. Very responsive host. Little extras to welcome you, like microwave popcorn and treats for your fur baby. There is a shallow, narrow creek you have to drive through to access the cabin. SUV or pick up only for this property.

We only were at the cabin for a couple of days, but it was a pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen was laid out nicely, with plenty of cookware. It was a bit further out from town than we were expecting, but the drive was a pleasant one, so none of us minded. Driving through the creek was fun, although part of a friend's car fell off when she went through. We had a good time overall. I actually wish we could have stayed a little longer so we could have used the hot tub.

Every year we take the kids to N Georgia end of the summer before they go back to school. This year they picked the Helen area & Cross Creek Hideaway. All 4 kids (9-15) enjoyed the stay & are asking to go back again next year. Helen & the nearby state parks offered plenty to do during the day & the house was perfect to go back to in the evenings where they learned to shoot pool & have a quick dip in the hot tub. At the end of the day they could each go to a room to wind down & watch tv. Very well stocked with kitchen utensils for cooking.

Two families (total of 8) stayed here for several days. The cabin is beautiful and well stocked. We were pleasantly surprised by the kitchen (spices, dish ware, and lots of pots/pans). We enjoyed the fire pit and the quiet, mountainview. Just 15 minutes from town. We will definitely stay here again.

Minor things would have improved the location greatly. The stove and coffee maker are a little outdated. A handrod in the middle bath shower would help. The outside needed better cleaning. Certainly, the listing should show that there is limited cell service and that a storm is probably going to knock out power service as it did while we were there.

The cabin was excellent. We had seven people two were older persons , Lots of stairs but it was manageable and everyone had a great time. The are is within 6 Miles of town and we went everyday, Had to cross a small creek to get to the cabin, but is was nothing. Could cross in a car with no problem. I enjoyed our stay and will do it again.
