We had a lovely time and I think the hosts have put together the most perfect cozy little cabin. I would love to return with my husband and daughter! We had a very peaceful time!
This little cabin was everything I was looking for in my search for some quiet time away from the pressures of real life. I stayed one night. That was it. And even with that, I drove away feeling refreshed and happy and ready to get back to the grind. 10 out of 10 recommend. I would choose this property again.
We loved our stay at this cute little cabin! It is conveniently located near Rainier. We drove into the park everyday during our stay. The cabin was well equipped with kitchen essentials and we loved cassette tapes and video games! We can't say enough good things about this little cabin!
Great “tiny house” property. Was perfect for one night with two adults and two children.
After looking for cabins to have a very small intimate wedding ceremony and getting turned away, we were lucky to find Ashley and the Hotelier. She was so kind and communicative with us from booking to end. We rented out both cabins and they were so charming and adorable. Loved the cowboy tub and the patios on each. We couldn’t have picked a better place for our elopement. We left with nothing but gratitude in our hearts.
This cabin was a perfect place to rest after a day of hiking. It was well stocked and very clean! We really enjoyed watching Jumanji on VHS!
My wife and I visited this secluded gem near Mt. Rainier during our eight-day expedition in the Pacific Northwest. It's about as close to the park's entrance as you can possibly get. Very charming cottage with a lot of vintage touches. Ultra-comfortable bed upstairs. We very much enjoyed the private fire pit area and the complimentary wood. A lot of on-site amenities for those staying for 3+ nights that we didn't take advantage of. Wi-Fi was appreciated. It really was the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploration!
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our trip to Rainier! Extremely close to the park’s entrance. Very clean, with a comfortable bed to crash on after doing some serious hiking every day. Loved having morning coffee and grilling for dinner out on the porch, and the fire pit was lovely. Ashley was a great host and even let us know about some nearby trail walks we appreciated. We’ll miss it!
This was truly the perfect little cabin for our mini-Mt-Rainier adventure! Cozy and charming!
Words cannot fully express just how much I LOVED this little cabin!!!! First of all, Ashley is a true gem… it was as if I was communicating with a long time friend. She was SO kind from the very first email & very, very responsive & thorough. I just wanna give her a big hug! The cabin itself was beautifully minimal, in literally *ALL* the best ways. You book something like that for a reason… to escape the hustle of what the world is today & it’s literally the perfect place to mentally & spiritually reset. Btw- I loved being greeted everyday by the happiest black puppy as soon as I pulled into the main drive by the main house. His tail wags make my heart full ❤️ Walking around outside as snow just dumped gently from the sky was breathtaking. I could have stayed outside forever. I’m originally from Hawai’i but nothing there brought me as much peace as this cabin in the woods did. It was equipped with everything you could need, at least for me. I just wish my fires stayed lit for more than 15 min… I couldn’t get the wood to catch fire ? no matter how much kindling I used, but it’s okay! That was a me problem lol Choosing to stay here again is a total no-brainer… I’m excited to try out the other cabins!!!! Thank you SO much Ashley & Kjel… what you guys have created for your visitors is perfection ?
The cabin is nice and has a lot of amenities for it's small size. We enjoyed sitting on the porch reading in the afternoon and evening. There is no coffee maker, just a French Press, which I had never used. I looked up instructions on YouTube and Ashley had also left instructions and she supplies coffee too! It worked just fine, coffee was very good. The fridge is old and there is no real freezer space to store ice or frozen items to prepare later for dinner. The beds were comfy. The stairs to the loft made me nervous so I slept downstairs in one of the bunk beds. My husband was not concerned about the stairs so he stayed in the loft. There is not a lot of storage space so for a family with lots of suitcases it could be challenging. Wifi and TV worked well. The drive to the park was about 8 minutes. Be aware, we traveled in October and on Saturday and Sunday we went to the park at 9 am and had a small line of about 5 to 10 minutes to get into the park. Parking at Paradise filled quickly even at this time of morning. When we exited the park these two days at between 3 and 4 pm, the line to get in was over a mile long....not exaggerating! So go early, at least on the weekends or be prepared to wait. We have a very pleasant stay. Ashley was very responsive to some questions we had during our stay. I would recommend staying at Tahoma Park House. Enjoy!!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tahoma Park House. The property was so picture perfect, and all the amenities were provided to make our stay super comfortable. The property was very functional, clean and organized, and we absolutely loved the wood stove in the living room. The stream was dry, and we kept imagining what it would be like in the Spring when it's flowing. We were so close to the Mt. Rainier Nisqually Entrance, it made going to the park so accessible. Ashley was a wonderful host and provided all the information up front, she was very reachable, even though we didn't need anything. We would love to visit and stay here again! Highly recommend.
Super cozy little cabin. Really enjoyed my stay. Decorated and curated nicely. Close to the park. Restaurant and groceries nearby. However, one night ended up costing over $500 when it was advertised as ~$150 per night. I knew that when booking though. The place was clean, but there was some room for improvement.
Had a wonderful time here. Kids (and adults) LOVED the firepit. Would definitely stay here again. Thx.
Owner was very accommodating and the cabin was so cute, comfortable and unique. Super close to pizza and climbing..
This property is a cute tiny home in the woods. We loved it's charm and serenity even with neighbors in the 2 cabins nextdoor, there was great privacy. The bedroom loft and stair ladder were so fun! The proximity to Rainier is perfect. Lots to do and see at Rainier.
Everything was perfect. So clean and nice. Great location for Mt. Rainier. If you’re considering this listing, don’t hesitate. It’s great.
