The space<br>
SugarpPine cabin is equipped with a full kitchen with all amenities, our front patio has a gas grill and there is plenty of outside space for the kids to play. Our driveway has space for two vehicles (maximum).

Cabin has one bedroom with a bunkbed (twin and queen) and an additional enclosed sunroom that can be used as a game/work or bedroom and has a sleeper sofa, electric heater and TV. Living room has a sleeper sofa, TV and there is central gas heater for those chilly nights.

TVs have Roku and/or Firestick that will allow you to stream your own accounts (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc).

We have a full bathroom with the following amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body wash and towels.

No need to bring tons of clothes since we have a washer and dryer inside our walk-in closet available for our guests.

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire cabin and yard. Only the basement (crawl room) where we keep our maintenance equipment is locked and is not accessible to our guests. Flat driveway for two vehicles and no stairs to get to the front entrance.

Other things to note:

Please check the weather daily before your check-in date. The weather in Big Bear is unpredictable and can change rapidly. On that note, during winter months make sure you have snow chains since they required to have inside your vehicle at police checkpoints. No refunds will be given unless authorities close all three highway accesses to the mountain.

SB County plows our community streets in the winter. But be ready for some driveway shoveling during snowy days (shovels are provided and can be found inside cabin).

Did you forget an essential or you don't feel like driving to town for dinner or a beer Don't worry, there is a conveniently located general store and a bar&grill within walking distance from our cabin.

Big Bear has a public transportation (Mountain Transit) and there is a bus stop about half a block from our cabin. Please go to their website to see routes and arrival times.

Nice quiet area in Sugarloaf. Very walkable community. Nicely renovated with modern amenities. I would recommend a door on the bedroom from the living room and kitchen for privacy and quiet. You then walk through this bedroom to the second bedroom, which also serves as the game room and is a remodeled porch.. In all, one bed which is a bunk. Others are pullout couches.

We liked that we could walk to nature trails from this property and to the local neighborhood pub/bar for a game of pool. The property was bright and cozy. A really nice combo for Big Bear. Plus I forgot how fun playing old school video games could be in the properties game room.

Beautiful mountain home, has everything you need and is super easy access and is a short drive to all the entertainment. The AC was a plus for the living area. It was a little warm in the bed area/game room because the AC doesnt reach. A fan to help push the air that way would be helpful.

Property was very clean and cozy. Was a blast from the past to be able to play Pac-Man and Dig Dug! Owner was very communicative, check in/out process was super easy. They even provided a few sleds for use (even though snow had all melted before our stay). Definitely recommend!
