The property truly is cute and cosy. The place was warm and welcoming when we arrived with breakfast supplies for morning. There is a dog park about a block and a half from accomodation so that was great for dog in am. The hot tub and deck looked inviting but the weather was so wet we weren’t able to use them, I am sure they are lovely in nicer weather. The surrounding area is lovely to walk around and it is convenient to town.

Very clean and cozy. The cabin was lit up and warm when we arrived. The outdoor tub was relaxing and was a great way to watch the stars and listen to the sea lions in the water. Walking distance into town with plenty of restaurants. Definitely worth another visit!

The cabin was cozy, clean, private, and warm - exactly what we wanted. Also, we loved the deck, hot tub and access to beach.

We enjoyed out stay very much. Watching the fishing boats come and go. The cabin was good too, though very small :) Difficult to make a meal as there was little to no counter space and some pans needs replacing. Also, would suggest providing more than one drying towel and dish cloth :) Bed was very comfy and surroundings were very private. It was a great place to spend 3 nights. Thank you!

Great views and in a cozy setting.

We couldn't have picked a more beautiful location for our first stay in Ucluelet. The cabin overlooked the bay, giving us a pristine view each morning and evening. The interior of the cabin was cozy and warm, with all the amenities we could ask for. The trees stretching over the docks made for a perfect roosting spot for eagles young and old - each morning we'd be greeted to at least one, and on one day we saw eight perched in the trees! It was also a convenient location for walking into town and checking out some nearby local beaches. We also made ample use of the hot tub, which was a highlight! Thanks to Marilyn for being such a gracious host.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was nice to see the seals in the water, just a few feet from us. The blue herons and eagles were a treat! There was a doe with her older fawn on the neighbors lawn. This is the place if you like nature!

The cabin was private and secure. It has everything we needed for our little getaway. The deck is perfect for morning coffee or sitting and watching the fishing boats come and go. A little wildlife, ravens, herons, seals, and even a little racoon passed by when the tide was out. Everything was imaculately clean. Comfortable with a cute little kitchette. The tub on the deck was a treat after our days of cycling. Private & relaxing! The location is easy to find and easy to get around from. Even in the rain, cozy! Our host was accomodating and helpful, letting us park our bikes undercover. We recommend this spot for a little get away.

We did enjoy our stay at the tiny cabin. It has a nice waterfront view and is walking distance to many trails, restaurants and right next door to a fantastic fish market. On the down side I was not happy that someone came into our personal space while we were away (being our gated and latched deck) to empty the recycle bin without giving notice they would be doing so. Just a quick text to let us know would have been nice. We were checking out the next day anyway and the recycling and garbage would have been a part of our check out cleaning so not sure why it even needed to be done that day.

Cute cabin located on the water in Ucluelet. Takes advantage of boats, wild life, and weather. Would come back again. Marilyn and Lance are such gracious hosts.This is our 4th time staying with them.

Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful time staying here! It was exactly what we were looking for, quiet, cozy, lovely ocean view. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the jacuzzi soaker tub. I would definitely recommend!

Absolutely stunning. The wildlife was amazing and the space was perfect for us and dog. We will definitely be back.

Great location, easy walk to everything downtown, short distance to the spectacular Wild Pacific Trail and close enough to Tofino for an easy day trip. The added, and fantastic, bonus was a nightly sunset viewing of a bear across the bank plus Bald Eagles abound!

This cabin was perfect for the two of us. Cozy, clean, and the location was amazing! We took full advantage of the jet tub on the deck, watched a bear swim across the channel on our first morning, and many, many bald eagles. Close to everything, yet secluded. Marilyn was super responsive via text and left us coffee, cream, and English muffins for our stay. Can't recommend enough, we hate to leave!

We were biking and walking the trails. The cabin was a great place to relax and watch eagles and the action in the inlet.

Nice snd clean

The picture doesn't match the reality the place is much more lush surrounded by trees and lot of greenery. The soaking tub was the best feature.

We loved it! Watching the sealions and bald eagles from the cabin was magical. The cabin was so comfortable - it had everything we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed doing the lighthouse loop walk from the canin, along with the hot springs cove tour.

This was a lovely little cottage with a water view; very cozy!

Very cool property. Scenery on water excellent - with eagles flying just above! Good trails to walk in Ucluelet. Close enough to Tofino to visit. The cabin is as stated . It is small but has all you need! Do be aware if you are coming here for total quiet the fishing Business next door might bother yoy. We didn’t mind as we were gone most of the day.

small, cozy with everything you need...very comfortable and relaxing stay

The cabin was perfectly cute, close to town, and we saw so much wildlife! Eagles hung out in the trees above out cabin and sea lions swam by several times.

Love the wildlife and remoteness of the area. Living by the ocean was spiritual and peaceful and the small cabin was well equipped. The outside hot tub was a nice touch.We could have used more hot water and it was very difficult to dry the towels.

I stayed here with my husband for our anniversary. It is a basic cabin with an amazing view. There was a bald eagle nest in a tree at the corner of the deck. The cabin is easy walking into Ukee. My only complaint was that it smelled strongly of musty dog when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.

I am sad to say. I was very disappointed with the cabin right off the bat as it was not as advertised. In the pictures and the description it did not mention the commercial fish market that is in full operation at all hours of the day and night being 50meters from the cabin. Not to mention the sea lions that make a racket all day and night. The pictures and description lead you to believe that the cabin is located in a calm and quiet location which is not the case at all. I did not mind this but felt taken advantage of. I also noticed a very moldy smell in the cabin which appeared to be from the towels and bedding provided along with the coffee pot which are very old and appear to have been reused for many years. The outdoor bathtub was also disappointing as it was big enough for a small child and not sufficient for an adult never mind a couple to enjoy.I did appreciate that the cabin was clean and the bbq was spotless those details were nice.Otherwise a disappointing experience and not as advertised.

Perfect private cabin for a short term get away to the beautiful Ucluelet area! Highly recommend, would stay again!

Marilyn's cabin is well-equipped and comfortable. We used the sheltered front deck with barbecue twice and enjoyed the water and mountain view and wildlife.Ucluelet has everything you need- fine walking trails and good food options.

We would love to stay here again in the future!

It was the perfect stay, the hot tub is private but still close enough to the bay which has sea lions swimming every once in a while, with eagles flying around. It was truly magical. The host is great at communicating everything and was super friendly. Everything was super clean and everything provided in the cabin fulfilled our needs. Would 100% come back.

Beautiful cabin was so nice and relaxing and very private

Beautiful area and easy access to so many trails and beaches. The cabin is right on the bay and seal lions were swimming past frequently! We saw humpback whales off the lighthouse trail by Ucluelet. We drove up the coast to Tofino and explored beaches and watched surfers along the way. The Shelter restaurant had the best seafood chowder and ling cod fish and chips ever! The drive over Vancouver Island to get to this area and back is great. The folks of this area were all so friendly and welcoming! We can't wait to come back!

The cabin is small which we expected as per pictures. Cabin was very clean. The only real issue was the sea lions. They kept us up all night as the cabin is not well insulated and right on the water. The sea lions spend from 00:00 until 07:30 on the small dock right down from the cabin and down on the rocks. I had no idea how loud they could bark none stop. We reached out to the host in the morning to let her know we were leaving and not staying for the remaining 2 nights of our stay. We understand this is out of her control, but a refund of some sort would have been appreciated. As a result we double pay somewhere else to enjoy what we came for: Quiet and Peace.

This little cabin is very cute and cozy and has a lovely view of the water. Other reviews mention noise, but the only noise we heard was the sea lions which we really enjoyed.The cabin is in a really nice neighbourhood and in close walking distance to everything you could want or need.The only negative is that we found the bed uncomfortable (this could also be personal preference) and the bedding had a bad smell. Other than that though I would recommend!

What a wonderful little trip! The cabin itself is a dream. It’s so cute with a beautiful balcony and view, there was a little access path to the water. We had sea lions slumbering on the dock the whole day. It was very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub on the patio was wonderful. I cannot wait to go back.

We were super excited to stay at a pet friendly place with a hot tub however the pet friendly meaning no dog hair on the bed in such a tiny space is a bit of a hard ask. I also think you ahould be more clear that its a bathtub outside not an actual hot tub that stays warm as it is storm season and was too cold to sit in just a warm tub

The cabin was perfect for two people and one dog. It was wonderful to have a private beach for the dog to play. I loved the jacuzzi tub on the deck.

Very small but very comfortable and cozy cabin, with a spacious deck overlooking the water. Loved the tub on the deck, and watching eagles, sea lions, seals and deer right out front. Cabin was stocked with coffee, tea, breakfast supplies, clean towels and linens and umbrellas (which came in handy!). Super comfy bed and convenient location- very close to town while feeling very secluded and private

My wife and I enjoy walking everywhere we go. It's a nice benefit to have a place to stay that is centrally located, and yet out of the flow of main traffic. It's on a nice side street, quiet and peaceful. We slept like the dead!!!

Our cabin was immaculate and well-appointed with everything we needed. It is small but the space is well arranged and efficient giving it a cozy feel. Marilyn stayed in contact but respected our privacy. Best of all the location is amazing. Our seals and or sea lions (we're still debating that!) swam by mornings and evenings. As well as a shy porpoise whose dorsal fin appeared daily. What a treat! Ucluelet has so much beauty and environmental knowledge for us to enjoy. Really hope we can return someday.

Very refreshing stay. Enjoyed watching the sea creatures from the deck. Location was great, walking distance close to town, beach area and trails. Even had the deers close by.

Very much enjoyed space and privacy. Ideal location for us. Enjoyed the front view, watching the vessel traffic a bonus.

The cabin had everything we needed but the tiny kitchen was too small for our week stay but would be perfect for a weekend stay. We never got tied of the boats passing by or peace and quiet. It is however next door to a fish processing plant but we found this was not an issue.

Enjoyed waking up to eagles flying out over the harbor every morning
