Stayed Aug 11, 2025What I want people to know before booking here is that there is a cat house next door--and I love cats, but this is dozens of cats from kittens of three months to six months to dozens of adults. I was made to pay extra because they accept dogs and then couldn't enjoy the property and beautiful weather because the cats are literally hoarding the deck and yard and will NOT go away. Can't get a response from out of state owner.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024Spent the weekend here so we could take the side by side out on the trails. The place is close to stores & the bar. The bar closed at 9:15 randomly but that’s not on the home owner.

Stayed Jul 5, 2024My wife and had a fantastic stay. The place is sized just right for a romantic getaway. As it's name implies,it is cozy but felt very comfortable, not cramped as you might feel in tiny cabin. It had everything we wanted/needed all in our own private space. And everything you might need in town (grocery store, bar/restaurant, coffee, liquor store, and even a laundromat, is literally within 4 blocks or less.

Stayed May 25, 2024Traveled here myself for a weekend, and it was great. Could walk to supermarket, bars, bowling alley and then very close to parks/lake where you can hike, walk and go swimming. House was quaint, and had everything you needed to enjoy a weekend. :)

Stayed Sep 4, 2023Hello, The house itself is nice, the location very convenient for our purpose. The house has been redecorated partially, new bathroom, partially new kitchen. The upper floor has one main usable bedroom, and a second room which is not refurbished and sealed off for access a bit strangely, so it leaves a not-so-nice impression. The house has a front porch which is maintained. The back porch is actually nicer to use, but it was in a poor condition and the surroundings not taken care of, also leaving a mixed impression.

Stayed Sep 1, 2023The cabin is nicely decorated with newer bathroom amenities and space not often found in older home layouts. It had plenty of room for the three of us and was very comfortable. The street is quiet and the town of Isle is quaint with the lake close enough to see from the curb. We enjoyed our stay and Martha was an attentive host. A little gem near great fishing.

Stayed Jun 30, 2023My friend and I so enjoyed our weekend away from the kids, husbands, and work! We had everything we needed and everything was within walking distance. The porch is very relaxing as we spent hours reading during the day on it. Campfires were great at night. We plan to be back next year!
