Cozy Houghton Lake Vacation Rental w/ Fireplace!

Nice cozy cabin perfect for a long week. We will be back!

The cabin was clean and it was pleasure to have stayed there. The host does a great job.

My host called to welcome me, and make sure I didn’t have any questions regarding the rental property. This was in a Great location within walking distance of many things.I will definitely be back!!

Cabin was very clean and located close to boat launch. Hosts were easy to get in contact with and had extra bottled water and all supplies we needed. Would highly recommend, perfect for 3 to 4 adults.

This is a cute and cozy little cabin. It was perfect for our weekend getaway.

Place was so cute and clean. It was perfect for my friend and I. The only one thing is the second bed room has a curtain. Wish it had a farm door or something because I get up early and my friend doesn’t and it’s off the kitchen. Otherwise perfect place. We will be back.

Great little spot by the lake!

The cabin was warm and welcoming for your our mid-October stay. The cabin decor added to the coziness. The host made check-in a breeze. The attention to detail made us feel spoiled.

We had a great stay in this cozy cabin! Everything was as advertised on the listing and was very clean. We had three people and it was comfortable. 6 would be a bit tight but definitely workable. It was 90 degrees while we were there and the ac kept us plenty cool. We brought our boat and loved the proximity to the boat launch. The driveway is a touch narrow but absolutely doable. Hosts were polite and good with communication. We will be back in the future!

Only good things to say about our stay! Great location close to the lake and property was super clean and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was pretty good. The cabin was cute. However it did need to have updated linens sheets and bedspreads. It was nice to extra blankets. The mattresses seemed to be worn out as well. Even though the couches were slip covered they also were saggy. The only other observation was the appliances were not properly cleaned from previous guests. The cabin was in walking distance to beach area. The outside was kept very tidy. I did appreciate the immediate response from the property manager about items that were broken from previous tennants. I would stay here again.

We selected this place due to its access to Houghton Lake and because it was a great home base to be able to venture out and see various sites in Northern Michigan. It did not disappoint. The place was spotless with a small stock of snacks/beverages upon arrival. We had some confusion about using the door code to get in and the property manager walked us thru it immediately - very helpful. Just be aware that if you intend to do a trip that will entail washing clothes, this place does not have a washer/dryer (not an issue for us).

This was my first trip to Houghton Lake and I have to say that it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The Cabin was wonderful! The property manager touched base as we entered the property and gave us a mini tour. He even had snacks on the table and bottled water in the refrigerator waiting for us. Shampoo, lotion, body wash he had everything perfect for our stay. My fiance' and I enjoyed the fireplace, we brought wood but, wood was cut and stacked for us to use. What an amazing place to stay. I look forward to going and staying at the Cabin again!!!
