The cabin is located on a small ranch at the mouth of Sypes Canyon just 5 miles north of Historic Downtown Bozeman. Relax on the front porch while sipping your morning coffee or evening cocktail. Enjoy the outstanding, unobstructed views of the Bridger Mountains just outside your door! Views of the Hyalite Mountains and the Spanish Peaks welcome our visitors to just sit a while and enjoy the beauty of Montana and the Gallatin Valley.
No matter the season, spend the day enjoying outdoor activities or perhaps shopping or visiting with friends and/or family. Bridger Bowl ski area, blue ribbon trout fishing, public golf courses, hiking and biking trails and are all just minutes away.
After a day of fun, dine at one of Bozeman’s many eclectic restaurants or prepare a delicious meal at home. The KITCHEN is fully equipped with an apartment size natural gas stove and small refrigerator. An additional, larger refridgerator has been added for our guests convenience. In addition to the listed amenities, we provide our guests with a coffee maker, a blender, toaster, and high quality Belgique cookware. Cooking utensils, dishes, flatware, soaps, and linens are also provided.
The LIVING area of the cabin is comfortably appointed with a large, leather sofa, rocking chair, recliner, and dining table and chairs. The interior walls of the cabin are bedecked with colorful quilts pieced by your hostess.
Snuggle up on the sofa in the evening in front of the glowing fireplace, pop some popcorn and watch a movie or your favorite program on the HD/DVD combo 32” flat screen TV equipped with DirecTV’s numerous channels.
The BEDROOM area can be privatized from the living area with a curtain. An antique armoire and bedside table flanks the queen size, iron bed. Burrow in for the night in the comfortable pillow top bed dressed in premium, 100% cotton linens, a cozy down comforter and topped with a quilt also pieced by your hostess. Listen for the songs of the neighboring coyotes or the haunting sounds of a hoot owl to serenade you to sleep.
A refreshing alternative to a stuffy hotel room, the “Bannack” cabin has it all. Enjoy your vacation respite in this unique cabin.

Lovely rustic cabin, impeccably clean, comfortable and well outfitted. I’ll be staying here for sure next time I’m in Bozeman. Rancher Ron, the owner, is quite a colorful guy.

I just can’t say enough about this property and these hosts. It is so perfect for a couple. The bed & pillows are scrumptious. Bath towels as well. Cabin is wonderfully appointed and we never needed 1 thing except help to light the gas fireplace one night as it got rather chilly outside and Ron came right over after our call. Sitting on the porch each morning with coffee was so peaceful and enjoyable. The location is superb as Bozeman city is literally only minutes away yet you feel like you’re way out in the country. We saw deer, rabbits, lots of birds, a fox even! We took day trips everyday and it’s so easy to get around to lots of beautiful places. North entrance to Yellowstone is maybe an hour? Very easy. The city of Bozeman is wonderfully charming with great shopping. They have included in a welcome book lots of places to eat, etc. was very helpful. I simply can’t say enough about how perfect this home away from home is so if you’re considering Bozeman as a starting point for discovering Montana, say here.

Kate was a great hostess, amenable to a quick change of plans and was great with communication. Cabin is as shown, a peaceful location not far (in Montana terms) from town.

Kate and Ron were fabulous host of this old, fabulously perfect cabin. They both were charming and full of knowledge not only about their ranch and surrounding area but of the State of Montana. The cabin’s location was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend. Hope you guys enjoyed the pastalaya we left for you.
