Awesome time beautiful property
This cabin was perfect for my family of 4 with two small children. The cabin had everything we needed, including, soaps, paper towels, TP, games for the kids, movies, extra blankets, a wagon, etc. We spent one day down at the Beaver Cove beach, which was a short walk. The kids loved climbing on the rocks and swimming to the dock. The other days we spent downtown, which was a short drive. The Katahdin cruise ship did a great job with the kids, and Fly-In was also a big hit. The property manager was very responsive to an issue we had with bees outside. I would recommend a dehumidifier for the basement, since it has been so wet, but the basement bedroom was cute and exactly as described. Overall, it was a great trip and a perfect location.
we enjoyed the property..nice neighborhood and close private community beach...no one was there so we had all to ourselves. Great place to swim....all positive. only downside is lack of wifi but otherwise a great stay
The house had all the amenities we needed. It was clean and quiet.
Our hosts were very accommodating on short notice when we requested to add an additional guest. There was ample bed space, plus cots available. The cabin is filled with board games, water toys, and yard games. The beach is a short walk down a path. We went no phones for the kids, with minimal use for the adults, and this was THE BEST family vacation we have ever had.
The property was nice, it had some updates since the photos such as the basement room is now painted, it was a short walk to the beach and the playground which the kids enjoyed and had direct access to the atv trails which was a big plus. Overall we enjoyed our stay aside from the weather.
It was a beautiful location. Cabin was nice. Beds were not very comfortable. But everything else was enough to make up for that
There were cobwebs over the door. The 2nd. Bedroom is in the basement with no door. The basement smelled like a litter box. The trash can was full of trash . The outside trash can was full . We had to leave our trash in the basement . The fridge was full of food.
What a wonderful, cozy place! It’s situated in community of trees with just a short walk to the lake. The beach area is roomy with picnic tables and beautiful views. It was very peaceful and quiet throughout the community with friendly neighbors. If we had any questions, they were answered immediately. Great amenities.. everything we needed was already in the home. We can’t wait to come back for another visit. Thank you Melanie :)
We stayed here for 4 nights with friends a our collective younger kids. Overall we had a good stay. Cons: -3 of the beds are in the basement that is unfinished and not very comfortable for sleeping -the cabin was not as clean as I would have hoped Pros: -the communication with the property manager/owner was always fast and consistent -the cabin was well stocked with all that you could need -the location with access to the lake, swimming beach, and town was fantastic
