This cabin has one bathroom with a large walk-in shower. It has a hot tub on the large covered deck, looking out over a wooded hillside, charcoal grill, flat screen TV and DVD player and Wi-Fi. TV is on a swivel arm that pulls out and turns so it can be seen from both the living room and kitchen . Has tight and steep staircase to loft BR area .Going upstairs not recommended for older adults or young children.
Staircase to loft is steep and not suitable for small children.
4-wheel or all-wheel drive recommended
Sorry, NO PETS
Great little place to get away, could use some more privacy maybe curtains or shades around the deck as there is a full time resident next door. We kinda expected it to be a little more secluded.
Everything was as described. The road is a small dirt road and nowhere to turn around. It was difficult for my full size pickup truck. I have 4x which helped. Would stay again.
It was nice except there was a small building that was close to us. He was living there . Had a generator running at night. We were told we were only cabin on the left. So we were surprised when we seen the neighbor. Over all it was nice. Just wish we had more privacy
My wife and I came to stay for an anniversary weekend. The checkin was smooth and the night check in girl was super nice. The cabin was perfect and just what we were hoping for. I definitely will be referring my family and Friends to the Scenic Cabin group. We definitely will be back??
The property itself was really good. It needs to be noted that you need an AWD or 4WD drive vehicle to get to it though as the road leading up to it is gravel and not in the best of condition. It was clean and well maintained. I would stay in this property again in the future. The property management company though, they need some work. I tried calling the 5 times to figure out how to get the key to get into the property when we got there since check-in instructions were not sent to me. I finally drove to their office where the young lady working the desk thought getting smart and an attitude would be better than apologizing and trying to help. She said I don't have any voicemails from you (so I showed her my phone where I had called 5 times over a course of 3 hours which made her even my mad), and let her know I left 2 voicemails so she may want to have the phone company come check their system. Thankfully, we got there at 4:00 since they closed at 5:00 or I'm not sure how we would have gotten into the cabin.
This is a cute, small cabin. Very clean, nice large deck with overhang so if it rains you can still sit outside. Loved the styling inside and out. About a 10 min ride to several different trails of the national forest, the skyline to the natural bridge and town to grab groceries. Would highly recommend a 4x4 vehicle as the road is narrow and not paved and slightly steep. We are definitely going to book this place again. Nice quiet getaway!!!
Beautiful I loved where it was close to everything
