Warm Springs, Georgia
Settle into this recently renovated, peaceful Warm Springs cabin and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located within the Pine Mountain area countryside in Harris County, this beautiful retreat features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeps up to 12 guests, is 1,536 square feet, and was built in 1990. Featuring all-wood construction, several modern-day amenities, and spacious living space, it's the perfect vacation home for rest, relaxation, and southern comfort.
Enjoy all this cabin has to offer! Find pleasure on the screened-in back porch, a wonderful breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen, and long, warm showers as you begin each day. The dome skylights add warmth and aesthetics while you unwind by the wood-burning fireplace; fire up the grill for a mountaintop-worthy barbecue dinner and sink into the views and sounds of nature by the firepit. You can also enjoy sightseeing and hiking at FDR National Park, antique shopping downtown, or engaging with family and friends at Callaway Gardens and surrounding attractions.
Nearly all rooms have been recently renovated with new furniture, fixtures, blinds, ceiling fans, beds, fresh paint, flooring, area rugs, and entertainment units. The main floor's stone fireplace has been completely renewed and whitewashed for an elegant and refined look. A new furniture set now embraces the living room space with an appealing hue and a modern-style design, making it the perfect location for reading, talking, or watching TV.
A multifunctional sofa also provides a queen-size pullout bed for equal comfort and pleasant sleep for two. The bedroom on this floor now includes new furnishings and a queen-size bed capable of comfortably sleeping two guests. A connecting bathroom features an oversized mirror, a four-door vanity with two drawers, a dual-lever faucet and sink, a toilet, and a shower, including a hairdryer. We've taken our time to improve, polish, and perfect these spaces, adding elements that are sure to welcome stillness without distractions.
Warm Springs and Pine Mountain offer several options for tasty meals, but nothing feels more accommodating and homely than a freshly cooked and wholesome breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Wake your family with the aromas of biscuits baking in the oven or fresh coffee steaming in the coffee maker; our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to create exclusive cuisine that will make your stay even more memorable. Our cabin provides a coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, and range; cookware, tableware, and a dishwasher; a dual-lever faucet and sink; and a refrigerator. A dining table seats six guests, and our countertop adds three more. Finally, store all your condiments and food items in our spacious and recently restored kitchen cabinets and keep your food fresh in the refrigerator. You're going to love this kitchen!
We want our guests to feel exceptionally welcome in our cabin, and nothing is more appealing than being offered a warm cup of coffee at any time and on any day. We've considered that out of all the cabin has to offer, certainly a cup of Joe was something that could not be missed, and according to U.S. statistics, over 400 million cups of coffee are consumed per day! Guests will find an essential supply of coffee for both the drip-style coffee maker and the Keurig machine. The 12-cup coffee maker is ideal for multiple coffee drinkers or for having coffee prepared throughout the day. We've also included several K-cup pods, allowing single servings to be delivered with the perfect temperature and water-to-coffee ratio. Additionally, a crucial allotment of packet sugars and creamers is also available to top off the experience. Please enjoy; you deserve a cup!
The lower floor's game/bonus room has been given a whole new facelift with wood flooring, new furniture, a custom-built roundtable, a new ceiling fan, additional lighting, two medium-sized full-featured CAPCOM and NAMCO arcades, and a smart TV. The multifunctional sofa provides space-savings and a queen-size pullout bed for exceptional sleep for two. The room directly adjacent features new furnishings and has been equipped with custom dual bunk beds, providing two twin-size beds on top and two full-size beds on the bottom, comfortably accommodating up to six guests.
The shared bathroom on this floor features a jetted tub, a shower, a dual-lever faucet and sink, a three-door vanity with three drawers, and has been renovated with a new toilet, a stylized ceiling, and fresh paint. We focused on retaining the cabin-feel of authentic wood while also elevating the spaces for a modern and welcoming environment.
The Hines Gap Hideaway definitely has something for everyone! Enjoy a nice, breezy day out on the front porch. We've included comfortable rocking chairs where you can sway back and forth using minimal shifts in weight, providing relaxation, reducing stress, and improving your mood. For the cold and dry evenings, gather all your family and friends around the firepit and grill, and make the nights filled with fun things to do. Cook some delicious BBQ meals, share stories around the fire, make s'mores, play music—the options are nearly endless. Whatever you choose, the grill is available for an excellent themed celebration, and the firepit is certain to liven things up even more. There are four brand new outdoor seats to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
For a carefree evening, enjoy the screened-in back porch, which encloses the space for a much more controlled environment that keeps pesky insects from disturbing your recreation and tranquility. The back deck has been completely renewed. Where there was nothing but a concrete slab, we took the time to construct a custom all-wood deck and fitted the space with an all-wood, custom-built full-size daybed with over 700 lbs. of weight capacity. It is able to accommodate two sleepers comfortably, providing an elegant and satisfying point of view overlooking the backyard trees and natural foliage.
Furthermore, we resurfaced the walking area around the right side of the cabin, which ends at the back of the deck, cleared the path, and reinforced the walkway, making it safer and the area much more accessible. Lastly, we cleared the yard of any overgrown weeds and bushes, opening the space for a much more admirable view of the mountainside.
We feel confident our guests will enjoy The Hines Gap Hideaway!

We enjoyed our stay and since we plan to return to the area, we would consider staying here again. During our visit, we recommended the property to friends we know also visit the region. Our host was highly responsive and clearly concerned about every detail, which we appreciated. This cozy cabin was a good value and helped make for a pleasant weekend.
The cabin was lovely. Spotlessly clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Ten of us stayed in the cabin, but it was large enough that we never felt crowded. Great location. Close to the major attractions. Lovely walking trails around the property. Recommend the cabin without reservation.
Don’t even give it a second thought…this cabin is even sweeter in person. We had the best time with our kids and grandkids in Pine Mountain. The area is adorable! The animal safari is unmatched! The trolley through the gardens of Christmas lights was dreamy! And time in the cabin was perfect! Large enough to accommodate our group and small enough to be cozy! Nicely decorated, completely fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, just as comfortable and welcoming as home. You won’t be sorry.
Nice cabin! Great place for a group of friends hang out for a weekend!
We were in Pine Mountain to visit Callaway Gardens Fantasy in Lights and found this listing on VRBO's website. We have used VRBO many times and have not been disappointed. This time was no exception. The cabin was very clean, many useful amenities, and no problems whatsoever. I would recommend this cabin if you are visiting Pine Mountain.
Our family had a wonderful time at the Hideaway Cabin. The amenities were perfect. It felt like home and was very enjoyable. It was close to go hiking on the Pine Mountain Trail and nearby amenities. Thank you! We hope to come back!
The cabin was gorgeous and they thought of literally everything! Cookware, laundry detergent, dishes, coffee pods, and even feminine toiletries! They had it. It was such a relaxing place for our family get-together. The views were a plus. The porch swing was easily a favorite and sitting in the screened in patio drinking morning coffee in the rocking chairs became a morning ritual. The kids loved the game room and the fact that they had Netflix and Disney+ available. The only thing I'd recommended is maybe bringing an egg crate for the pull-out couches, if you plan on being at max capacity with people. But other than that, it was perfect!
Only complaint is there was a party at the pool area that played loud music from 1:00 pm til after midnight….,.
There was a scorpion in the lower bedroom as well as several small cockroaches. Otherwise was clean but appears to have not been treated for pests lately. All needs were anticipated and met. Thank you.
The house was listed an 3 bedroom on of the bedroom a game on the first day arrived the was so cold I'm comfortable to sleep in. The 2nd day the house was so hot definitely couldn't not sleeping the temp was control my the owner I want a refund of half of my money Fail appetizer and I will seek a lawer to get a refund
We really enjoyed the cabin despite some issues with the water heater, he was very good at communicating with us during this time & did everything he could to make it right. Thank you for letting us enjoy your cabin!
A great place to relax and get back to nature! Love the screened-in upstairs balcony. Great place to Play cards and Dominos. Game room was a hit for the young people. Kitchen was well supplied. Loved It. Family voted it best stay ever!
Nice
Only issues was with the TV and wifi, poor wifi and could not watch any tv. I had several grandkids with me and this made the time in the cabin a little ruff.
great time was had by all
This house has everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The sunset view is a pleasant surprise. The only thing kids complained is the on-and-off Internet connectivity. As parents, we were not there for business trip, so it didn't bother us that much.
Plenty of room and close proximity to everything.
This is a nice little cabin, the place was clean and the kitchen had the essentials we needed to cook meals, could use just a few mixing bowls. There was also plenty of bath towels, dishwasher pods and laundry soap. The description lists three bedrooms, but there technically is only two and two pull out sofas, one in each living area. This cabin can sleep 12 people, but in my opinion, is probably best suited for 8. I say that because having 12 people means both pull out sofas are being used and when the guests using the sofa sleepers wanted to go to bed, the living room or game room area was no longer able to be used by the others. The front and back porches were nice sitting areas and we were able to enjoy a couple nights sitting out by the fire. The cabin is in a good location if you enjoy hiking, there were some nice hikes just a short drive away. The property manager was also quick to respond.
Six HS team members + two adult chaperones enjoyed the stay! Property was clean, plenty of linens/towels, kitchen utensils/pots/pans, cleaning supplies. Welcome instructions were helpful and well-written.
We had a great experience and enjoyed our visit. We stayed to experience the Fantasy in Lights and stayed an extra day to do some shopping and the Wild Animal Safari with our daughters and their friends. If it wasn’t raining we would have even taken an early morning hike. The porch day bed, fire place and game room were a huge hit! The Keurig didn’t work(needle maintenance needed msg) but not to worry as there were some coffee maker supplies. Thanks so much!!
Very clean and nice
Great property with a fun game room for the family during night time
This was a great place to get away and relax. The only problem we encountered was the television service. Live streaming was continually buffering. There needs to be a better way for the tv to work for those of us who have cable service at home that does not travel with us. Fix that problem and I would give it 5* without hesitation.
