Stayed Oct 2, 2025Perfect kiddo/family friendly spot. The community and cabin comfort made our 4 day vacation ideal for a relaxing getaway. If humbled blessings is your thing, than is a great spot.

Stayed Sep 21, 2025Nice little neighborhood with some views. Cool trees and a creek/river nearby. Close enough to town and yet removed from it. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The bed in the loft was very comfortable (unlike some vrbos) so I really appreciated that. Nice place ! The pics are from a walk I did around the neighborhood.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025The cabin was clean and in good condition. We had a fun time staying there and didn't run into any problems. The hosts had all the check-in and check-out instructions lined out in an email and in a binder at the cabin. Super easy process. We would stay again.

Stayed May 6, 2025Beautiful area, there were pigs, cows, elk, and lots of birds. The property is very clean, inside and out. It is sort of stocked, some essentials were missing that we were told would be there, like soap and shampoo, but there were extras as well that we weren't expecting. The upstairs got very hot and I didn't see an AC unit up there. We stayed in mid-May. It's not very central to anywhere, but is within easy driving distance of Payson and Pine and the Mogollon Rim. It is very close to other houses, but the neighborhood is very small, and there is a small creek (East Verde River). Overall, very enjoyable for us as we wanted the natural atmosphere and there were no kids.

Stayed Mar 12, 2025Our family enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin, the neighborhood was quiet and delightful. Location is beautiful and close proximity to many activities, we enjoyed our time at the Lake, hiking Tonto National Bridge, and of course playing in the snow.

Stayed Oct 17, 2024Cute A frame cabin. Picture is true. Houses are close together though. We woke up to free roam cows outside our kitchen window. Kids loved it even though they werent the wild animals they wanted to see. We did see several cute fat squirrels at the property & elk in the town of Pine. Lovely little community. Very quite. We came to get out of the heat of the city, but of course the weather was unpredicable & we got a cold front. I do wish the circut breaker fuses were heavier as we had to flip it a few times due to the use of space heaters that were available (thank goodness they had one for every room). Granted it was a little over ran with greenery, but summer is just ending and Im sure its hard to keep up. Love that they had most everything you would need. More wash cloths would of been nice but we made do with 2. I didnt remember reading that the master bedroom is upstairs. It was not easy to get up there as the stairs are steep and tiny & my husband kept hitting his head on the ceiling due to the A frame. Thank goodness they have a full bed downstairs i could stay in as I had a hard time up the stairs.. We still did truely enjoy our stay. Thank you for sharing with us.

Stayed Jun 25, 2024We enjoyed our cozy stay. Everything is supplied. (except spices. Bring your own). Beds are comfy, bathroom is nice. Neighborhood has nice people. We took walks every day. However if you want to explore the wooded area to the water wheel falls, you need to drive. Also there are many boulders to get there that are dangerous. So keep that in mind. If you are an older person, there are stairs to the master bedroom. Bathroom is on the first floor. There are also a few restaurants in Payson that are delightful! Duza’s and La Sierra Mexican food were our choices. To sum it up, it was an enjoyable stay!

Stayed Jun 6, 2024Visited with my wife and 2 adult sons. Quaint, yet no shortage of room. The property's kitchen is very functional and the grill provided was very nice. One minor complaint would be the A/C situation, but following the hosts instructions everyone slept comfortably.
