it was a nice little house the hot tub water was not the cleanest to say the least and the back patio was a mess with tree debris, but I found a leaf blower in the washroom and cleaned it up but other than that everything in the house worked and was good

We had an issue with the cabin being given to us in a state that needed to be cleaned. Thankfully Ron our contact had the cleaning team arrive in a fast manner and made it look adequate. He also refunded us the cleaning fee for our troubles as it was our honey moon. We did enjoy our stay after that and the amenities were greatly appreciated. We enjoyed our time after the first issue but the wifi network name and password needs to be updated. He also did let us do a late checkout which was really appreciated. Communication was a bit poor but overall I would give this place a 3 1/2 stars. Definitely a place for a romantic stay and perhaps with a single child as it has 2 beds. I would recommend that the communication of the contact and upkeep of the cabin needs to be focused on as it is a nice cabin and area to stay in, would still recommended for a get away!

Host uses a third party so it's very impersonal, but the cabin was nice and cozy. The hot tub only got to 100 and cooled down very quickly due to the weather, so an upgrade on the heater is recommended.

This was a cozy place for my wife, 2 kids and my mom. This place was close to the snow tube park, which I took my kids to, so that was awesome.I was bummed the hot tub wasn't working though, which was a factor in choosing this place. When we arrived, half the hot tub cover was off and it was at 70 degrees. I put the cover on and made sure the temp was set to 104, per the owner. But it never heated up.We cooked on the stove and only one of the igniters worked. I messaged the host and we were told to light any others by using a match or lighter. There were long matches provided, but I had assumed they were for the fireplace. We had enough room to do a 1000 piece puzzle on the coffee table, but the huge main light couldn't be figured out b/c the remote didn't have any batteries. But there were other lamps in the room to light the room enough. The TV volume was exceptionally high and we couldn't figure out how to turn it down. None of the 4 remotes would turn it down and we didn't see any button on the TV itself to access volume.

The cabin itself was decent but it just wasn’t maintained well. The yard was messy, full of pinecones and pine needles (more than what would be there between cleaning/visits), laundry room was cluttered. No Kitchen towels to dry dishes, no real amenities (coffee pods, hot chocolate, shower gel/soap for shower), jets in the spa didn’t work well at all. Other than that, the cabin itself was fine, and a good location and pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay regardless. Would just say if the host took some time to go over the cabin and fix some things and put a little time into it, would be easily be a cute place to stay.

The point of my stay was to get my dog away from the 4th of July fireworks in my neighborhood and this worked perfectly. It was so quiet and had everything we needed. My only concern was the stability of the fence. The lock was broken so you have to use a brick to keep it closed and one of the corners is separating from each other. So a more active dog than mine could probably push their way out.

The cabin is nice and cozy, the bedroom in the A-frame loft is particularly delightful. Hot tub works great and well taken care of. The host tries his best to return texts about any issues fast. In overall it’s a great cabin, but it is just not very clean. I couldn’t pull out a single dish or a glass that wasn’t dirty. I guess guests just don’t wash them properly, but no one checks the cupboard during the cleaning, so most of the dishes have some really obvious dirty spots. Every dish I used I had to wash first. Also the toaster was broken, so no toasted bread for breakfast for us. We were also not very lucky with the fire alarm. It was beeping every 30 or 60 sec, so we had to take it out and put it in our car, otherwise we could hear it from the inside. The host offered to send someone to take care of it, but for us it was more convenient to just leave as is.

This host was very responsive and genuinely wanted us to have a good stay! The property is in a very cute area. The cabin itself is in good shape for its age. Recommend for small groups visiting. The fence would not quite have been secure enough for our dogs as the front gate was broken.Thank you for having us!

Enjoyed the cabin. The location is phenomenal. Beds were comfy. Lots of blankets and pillows. The outdoor area is beautiful with lots of seating. Just some FYI's: Lots of stairs; driveway is a bit steep, if you have a lower vehicle, bumper guard will scrape. A few issues, BBQ is not usable, toaster didn't work, missing remote for ceiling fan (that you can't reach otherwise), and stove was not clean. There is no sharp/large knife that we found so if need be, bring one. But none of that detracted from our stay.

First time our dog played in snow. He loved it. Clean and well stocked kitchen. Comfy bed. Lived the fire place. It says they have Roku tv, but you have to sign in to everything with your own passwords.

Cute cabin in a lovely neighborhood equipped with all of the basics for a wonderful stay. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, jacuzzi and fenced in backyard. The beds are also cozy and comfortable. We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness. We noticed quite a bit of pet waste not cleaned in the yard prior to our stay and some dust bunnies throughout. Not a deal breaker though. Would stay again!

I will keep this review short, as we notified the owners of issues we had with our stay. However, we did not hear back from them, which was disappointing. We were not notified of the malfunctioning hot tub until the morning of our stay, which was the main reason we booked this property. There were other things we had to deal with that should not have been our responsibility. The cabin could have been more clean. Difficult to cool down, especially the upstairs loft. Otherwise, our dogs loved the backyard. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and waking up to the view from the large window. Great coffee shop nearby called LuluBelle's and short drive to Heap's Pike Arboretum, which was also dog friendly.

Pros-excellent communication w.the owner when arrived ; nice & quiet neighbors ; property close by restaurants and groceries Cons-was advised hot tub not working 1 day before check in ; dog's hair all over inside the house ; backyard had leaves, dust, spider webs all over the floor, bed, couch, couch's pillows ; 2nd bedroom was very hot even w.a commercial fan and only got cooler only at night time, workers only came to fix the tub the morning we were leaving.

This is a fantastic getaway from it all: not a busy area, but a short trip to Big Bear Lake, Skypark and Lake Arrowhead. We will definitely try to stay here again
