Cozy 2 bedroom cabin on the water - great location, must see!!

Great cottage and accommodations! The cottage was lovely and well stocked, with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The proximity to Hayward was also great.

This property far exceeded our expectations! The hosts were wonderful, and in communication with us to ensure a positive experience throughout our trip. This cabin was clean, smelled fresh, is spacious, has very comfortable furniture and beds, has nice bathrooms, and quality linens. The cabin is in a great location, near fun activities for all ages- mini golf and go-carts across the street, shopping near by, antique shops, famous fish museum, many nice places to dine, breakfast diner within walking distance. That being said, it was tucked away in a quiet wooded area. You have your own nice fire pit w/ chairs. We tied our boat right to one of the docks available to us. Parking was easy, and we were able to easily park our boat trailer. We had full access to Hayward Lake, which has a nice beach and public boat ramp. We will be back during snowmobiling season to enjoy these same amenities. The cabin was nicely stocked, beyond other VRBO rentals I have stayed in. You had all the linens you may need, k-cups for coffee were provided, extra toiletries if needed, sun and bug spray, paper products, spices, games, etc. This rental really has it all, fully recommend them, and will stay again!

This rental was great, and exceeded my expectations. Beautiful and scenic lake view with dock, and outdoor camp fire was wonderful. Hosts communicated effectively on what to expect pre-stay, and for check-out. Hosts were available if any issues arose. Hosts also checked-in via message to make sure all was well. Highly recommend!

Great cabin & location! Comfy queen bed & the basement is great for movie night. It should be noted - the 2 twin beds are suited for kids or small adults.

Fantastic property. I and 4 other family members stayed there from Aug.9-Aug.13, 2023. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you need. There was even fixings for s’mores left for us. Even though you are in town, you feel like you’re in the woods. Grocery stores and restaurants are located near by. My mom grew up in Hayward and we were impressed with how close everything was to the cabin. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly. It was a wonderful stay!

Our stay was nothing but amazing. It's a cozy cabin with all the right amenities to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and both living rooms provided us with a place to relax. It is also tucked away and off the main road enough so you don't hear the traffic. Backwoods cabin feel just minutes from downtown Hayward.

The cabin was warm and inviting. The beds were comfortable as well. This was my third time staying at this property.

Went on an Ice Fishing trip with some friends and had a great stay here. Plenty of lakes in the area and convenient location in town.

We enjoyed our second stay at this cabin. It's close to town and was very cozy and welcoming. Because of the snowstorm, I especially loved being downstairs on the soft couch with a warm blanket while watching TV. We will definitely be back again.

The cabin had everything we needed! The location was very close to downtown Hayward, which we loved. Communication with owner was excellent. The cabin is on a waterfront, but the was a busy road you could see and hear from the property, which is why I have 4 stars in waterfront property.

Great place to stay convenient to restaurants and shops on Main Street. Everything was just as the owner said and had fully stocked kitchen for making meals.

The hot tub was great but because of our age not all of us used it. Difficult for us to get in and out. It was very nice tub. The cabin was well supplied with everything you needed for a great stay. We couldn't believe all the stuff they supplied. We would book that cabin again anytime. It was perfect

Really great little cabin in northern WI! Our group consisted of 2 adults and one 5 year old child and we fit very comfortably in this space. The private campfire pit was lovely, and it was very convenient to be so close to the water. We did lots of paddle boarding! Of note, this cabin has a bit of a remote feel because of the nature trees on the property and also due to how the property is set up, but it is right next to town so there is quite a bit of traffic noise during the week days. Nothing that bothered us, but just something to be aware of. We really enjoyed our time here though and would definitely stay again!

This cabin was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were very comfortable. This property is right in town and convenient to quickly get to the shops and attractions. My daughter and I had a wonderful time.

The cabin was wonderful! It looks exactly like what is shown in the pics. There was more than enough room for 4 adults. The kitchen was great! Had coffee - both regular and decaf, coffee creamer, some spices, etc. More than enough pots and pans for cooking. The bathrooms included shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There was a wall full of games, puzzles and books. Perfect for kids! There is a gate that closes off the top of the stairs to keep the little ones safe. The hosts, Mike and Nola, were very nice and checked in via VRBO text to see if we needed anything. Check in was a breeze. The cabin is tucked in some trees so you feel like you’re out in the woods even though you are right in Hayward. Lovely spot. Would definitely stay here again!

We greatly enjoyed our stay as a family. It was close to everything, on the water of Lake Hayward, as well as a 15 minute drive to many lakes to choose from for fishing & lake fun! The cabin was clean & comfortable for our family! We made lots of great memories!

It was a taste of cabin living right on the edge of town. It was pretty much within walking distance of anything you needed or even to get to downtown. The cabin was very nice and clean and pretty much has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was just perfect for us and had everything we needed. It was walking distance to the downtown businesses which was great!

We spent 3 days here and really enjoyed it. The place was perfectly stocked and very clean. It was my husband, his sister and I and we are 76, 77 and 65. We loved the deck and had no bugs, but did have a visitor!

This property was perfect! It was a 5 day rental to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and to just get away for some relaxation with a bit of fishing tossed in.Our cabin was just as it appeared in the VRBO ad. Very clean and well appointed.We enjoyed being very close to the shopping and eating establishments. Communication with the hosts easy and timely.We would LOVE to come back and maybe choose one of the other cabins on this unique little private wooded area.Please consider Mallards Landing for a cool rental experience. Clean and comfortable. We stayed during a heat wave and the air conditioning was great to have.

Overall this was a fantastic stay. Location was great, right on the water and close to down town. It was close to everything but yet was still quiet as if you were on the edge of town. Inside the cabin, everything is thought of. Safety is always first for familes, this cabin has 2 levels, so naturally with littles (we did not have this trip) stairs are a safety concern, this cabin includes a mesh retractable gate- see photos. In the kitchen, every cupboard is labeled with contents, there is a spice cupboard, everything needed for essentials for cooking / baking. The living room / bedrooms have more than enough blankets, and extra pillows if needed- some soft, some firm. The bathroom has shampoo /conditioner/body wash located in the shower. There are also extra towels if needed for a longer stay. First aid kit and hair dryer are also there if needed.The LL bathroom has the jetted tub, that was a hot topic for our stay.We all enjoyed it, it made us want to instal one in our home. I am usually skeptical on how clean they are, but I assure you, I had no concerns of cleanliness in the tub, or any part of the cabin.To sum it up, 10/10 recommend this cabin, everything is very well thought of. Communication is great with the hosts.

This is by far one of the best trips we have taken and that is because of how awesome this place was. It was so clean and so accomodating for the 1 year we bought - her first vacation! The location is in walkable distance from the shops. We will for sure be back!!

This location couldn’t have been more convenient—just steps away from a fantastic restaurant and a grocery store right down the street. It was the perfect spot for a trip with my mother to visit family. When other relatives, including my grandmother and uncle, came by to see the place, they were genuinely impressed with the beautiful interior. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable stay.

This place was awesome. Real log cabin on a lake! We enjoyed the community also. Good restaurants grocery stores and shopping too. I found little shops with wonderful prices and so much to choose from. The lake is amazing and so close to the cabin. I had coffee on the deck facing the lake. What a great way to start your day! We loved this cabin! So relaxing and close to everything you need. The fall color drive was just stunning!

Three of us shared a 'mom's weekend' and rented this wonderful cabin! We were all so excited from the moment we walked in! Truly gave an 'up north' vibe, but yet we could walk everywhere. We also enjoyed the deck with the big bulb lights during the evening....sitting out with our snacks and cocktails, with a blanket on our laps. We were all so sad when we had to leave....and agreed we will be back (just longer next time).
