Conveniently located less than 2 miles (5 minutes) from the river, this 7-acre property joins the Buffalo National River Park land. Small, but cozy, our tiny house tucked in the woods offers the amenities you want on your Natural State adventure. The cabin is ideal for two people, but can accommodate three. The upstairs loft bedroom features a Sleep Number queen bed so you can get a great night of rest after your day on the river. The couch in the living area folds out for additional sleepingspace.

Relax and enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks on the front porch in a rocking chair or on the back deck. We like to spend as much time outside as we can at the cabin, so there is a fire pit, patio set, charcoal grill and outdoor games for guests to enjoy. Deer and other wildlife can often be spotted from the cabin. And don't forget to check out the stars at night! The park was recently designated an International Dark Sky Park for its superb opportunities for star gazing.

The Buffalo Bender kitchen is stocked with a refrigerator, microwave, drip coffee maker, stove/oven, toaster, crock pot, pots and pans, plates, cups, utensils, and basic spices and condiments. Additional items provided include wifi, hair dryer, TV with DVD player and movies, board games, outdoor games, grill with charcoal, bath and beach towels, fan, cooler for use on the river, firewood, and bedding. It's all the fun of camping in the great outdoors without packing the gear!

The cabin is pet-friendly to well-behaved, housebroken dogs with a pet fee of $50. For their safety, we ask that you do not leave pets unattended outside. Please let us know if you plan on bringing your furry friend along so we can put out dog supplies for your visit. If you have pet allergies, our cabin may not be a good fit for you.

The cabin located less than half a mile down a dirt road. The road is easily passable by vehicles with normal clearance.

The Buffalo River is one of America's few free-flowing rivers and features excellent floating, hiking, bluffs, waterfalls, and wildlife. It's an outdoor lover's dream! You can easily rent canoes, kayaks, and rafts at the river concessionaires located half a mile from the cabin. We love to float and hike, so feel free to ask us for recommendations.

The cabin was very cozy and secluded, outdoor areas were great! Kitchen was set up very well and had everything we needed. We loved how the cabin was laid out. Over all it was a very easy and relaxing stay for a couple of nights, we'd love to come back sometime.

Perfect cabin getaway. Relaxing and peaceful. The owners thought of all the potential needs of the occupants. We didn't bring any pets, but they thought of people's fur babies as well. Tyler Bend and the Buffalo River are very close!

Check-in was simple. It was easy to communicate with the owner. The cabin was very clean and super cute. Comfy stay, had everything we needed and even some DVD’s and games.. also was easy to sign in to our streaming services. We really enjoyed the privacy and having a grill as well as a fire pit where we made s’mores! Definitely recommend!

Buffalo Bender Cabin is a cozy and comfy oasis in a beautiful setting! We had everything we needed on hand and easy access to the best launching spots on the mid Buffalo River. There is an excellent, short trail to the best star gazing spot possible, and we had a close encounter with an armadillo for some comic relief. Everything was as described, and we were so impressed with our Wi-Fi access everywhere. We will have to come back for a cooler weather visit, but for a deep summer week, once inside we were chill to our fill.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute and cozy cabin. Had everything you needed. A couple thing we suggest if you are in your 60’s, the stairs are scary, no TV downstairs. Rugs don’t grip floor almost tripped on them. Just put them up till we left. Ticks are terrible bring repellent.

I chose the Buffalo Bender as a home base for floating and hiking with my doggo, and it did not disappoint! Accomodations were perfect and as described. Perfect for a solo traveler like myself, and the extra touches to make it more pet friendly were perfect. Quiet and private scenic location, but still close enough to all my excursions! Would absolutely stay again!

Small adorable cabin. The one thing I would change is in the loft area and stairs leading up to it could use more railings as a safety measure.

The cabin was perfect except it took the water a long while to get hot and we did not see wildlife like we were expecting. Of course, that might have been due to the rain we got while we were there. We enjoyed it a lot and will recommend it to others we know. The host was awesome...answered all of my questions very quickly.

This little cabin was well-outfitted for anything you need including stuff to make s'mores. Very clean, neat, tidy. The only issue was our age vs. the narrow stairway to the bedroom. We just took our time and were careful. Enjoyed our stay!

We were in Arkansas visiting family, but decided to spruce up our stay with a couple nights in this cute little cabin and we are so glad we did! This cabin was just the right size for two and loaded with charm and aesthetic from the fairy lights to the plaid decorations. Super comfy bed, good water pressure (although, shower was a tad dark due to lack of lights) and furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay! It was also very peaceful there in the woods. Sitting around the outdoor fire pit, roasting marshmallows with supplies provided by our host, created some of our favorite memories from the trip. We would definitely stay here again!
