Country Escape: Log Cabin Near Kentucky Lake!

Beautiful place

Could probably use a little maintenance work. There were a few minor things that we noticed while we were there like the main door had to be lifted to get the deadbolt to lock. I had to buy an allen wrench to reattach the handle to the storm door because the set screw wasnt tightened all the way. But overall it was pretty good. The family had a great time and we loved the location.

Loved it great place to stay

We enjoyed our stay here, visiting Land between the lakes and the surrounding area. We had two adults and our four kids so we were thankful for everyone to have their own bed. The decks were nice and the weather was great while we were there. Location was convenient for accessing LBL through the north or south entrances. The bedrooms were not as clean as we would like, and some parts of the house had very clearly not been cleaned since the last people stayed there. We also would have appreciated things being better stocked (k cups, TP) for 6 people staying 4 nights. Overall positive.

This is a great location! 2 bedrooms with doors, another 3 beds in a common area, which are all in the basement. We had a good vacation with only a few hiccups. There is a back deck, but some of the furniture was not ideal for sitting. There was an odor when we first arrived, but disappeared after getting the a/c on. We also found a bottle with cigarette butts on it outside, and had to ask for someone to come and remove it which we did. When looking for silverware in the kitchen, we also found packs of cigarettes. Not ideal for a rental in my opinion, but we made the best of it. Beds were comfy and the location was great.

This cabin was exactly the getaway that we needed. We come to Kentucky to visit children and grandkids and great grandchildren. This home was large enough to hold us all with a lot of area to Rome and check out the cabin was clean, neat and tidy, and we also got to meet the housekeeper, that was exceptionally welcoming and understood our earlier arrival and invited us in. I can’t say enough nice pleasant word to describe this cabin. It was just absolutely perfect and fully start with all the needs that she would need. I will be booking this again when we come to Kentucky in a few months .

The property was nice for the price but the firepit in the driveway was falling apart, the gas firepit on deck did not have ANY propane. The kitchen was not well stocked. The basement shower handle fell off due to a rusted out screw.

Great place to unwind and relax.

This property was exactly what our family fishing trip needed. Great little get-a-way with the marina right down the road. The water pressure in the bathrooms was amazing. We all felt refreshed after a long day of fishing. Also, the cozy setting area was perfect for my daughter. She loved all the options the tv had to offer! Overall, this was by far the absolute Best place that we have stayed. Don't let the price fool you into thinking it's going to be a dump because It is NOT. Loved everything about it!!! Thank you

The cabin is cute. Most of the essentials are provided. It needs some structural repairs, such as the front porch has boards that are rotted. Back deck needs to be refinished.

This property was perfect for our family vacation! It’s so close to everything we were doing on the lake and in town. The place was clean and very homey! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!
