Cottage on the Pond: Hot Tub, Patio, Fishing

Perfect getaway for a couple, cabin was beautiful and modern. Nice quiet place, nice place to just unwind and relax!

While the cabin isn't as remote as I thought, it is in a great spot and not to close to the neighbors. The owners obviously take pride in their place because it was spotless, well appointed, cozy and inviting. The bathtub in front of the fireplace in the bedroom was a big hit with my better half! The entrance is just north of the main drag of Hochatown so not too much highway noise.We will be staying again!! Thanks to Frank and his family for sharing the cabin with us!!

We really liked the area of the property; very close in proximity to local restaurants, bars and trails. The house was also very pretty, and we loved the little pond right out back. Unfortunately, the hot tub was so over chemically treated that it was difficult to enjoy. The smell from the chemicals burned our eyes and throat, and completely bleached and ruined our clothes. Big disappointment since that was what I was looking forward to enjoying the most, and it destroyed my favorite bathing suit. The pillows on the bed are also very full and firm. For people like us that sleep on our sides and stomach, sleeping was difficult and uncomfortable.

Cozy cabin, great stay!

The cottage by the Pond is amazing! I went as a guest the first time and the 2nd time, I went because I love the place! The cabin is stocked with absolutely everything you would ever need for your stay! The hot tub was great! The booking went so smooth, and Frank was very informative!! I would recommend this cabin to anyone and I will definitely book it again! Very quiet and serene! Total zen!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Cottage on the Pond. We think this place is our favorite place to stay so far! We absolutely enjoyed hanging on the patio and watching our dogs play around the pond. The fire pit was so nice to sit at while listing to the water fountain in the pond. We would stay again %100

Beautiful cabin. Not as private as expected, but that was not a problem at all. Great communication from host and detailed instructions provided for all appliances. Super dog friendly. Comfortable bed. Great views. Close to food, fishing, and hiking. Would absolutely stay again.

Frank was an amazing host responding quickly to questions and checking in on us throughout the stay. The cabin was tucked away among tall trees and next to a tranquil pond, offered breathtaking porch views- ideal for morning coffee or evening unwinding. Inside, the cabin was cozy and had all the essentials, with rustic decor that made us feel like we were truly escaping everyday life. Everything was spotless and well-kept. Nice, quaint place.

Years ago, we stayed in a tiny cottage, and this was far from that experience. This cottage was expansive. We had room to spread out and move around with 3 adults and a 75 lb heeler. Frank thought of everything that one would use during their time at his place. The bed was comfortable. I would definitely consider going thru Frank again when traveling to Hochatown.

Loved the experience

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and everything worked! We stayed outside on the patio 90% of the time enjoying the view and sound of the pond. When we had a question, the owner got back to is immediately. We couldn't have asked for a better time! We will be back!

This cabin was amazing and a perfect getaway for our anniversary. Picturesque and cozy, with adorable decor and well thought out conveninces. We cooked some meals in the cabin and also enjoyed the local restaurants. I was so appreciative of the well-stocked kitchen and extra snacks provided. Close enough to everything we wanted to do, we fit in all the fun we could for the weekend. Wpuld definitely book again the next time we need to escape from our kids, ha!

The cabin was very nice and up to date. Frank provided everything you could have possibly needed and more. They have truly gone out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. We would definitely rent from them again.

My boyfriend and I loved staying here. It was the perfect size for the two of us and our dogs. It had everything we needed and the location was great!

We chose The Cottage on the Pond for our 49th wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful experience. The end of October was the perfect time to go. The leaves were all changing and falling like snow. Most all the tourist had gone and traffic wasn't overwhelming. There was a burn ban in effect and we couldn't have an outside fire in the fire pit, but that was ok. We just spent more time in the hot tub. We visited Girls Gone Wine and cooked steaks on the gas grill that came out great!! I highly recommend The Cottage on the Pond. You won't be disappointed.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation for our 49th wedding anniversary. The Cottage on the Pond was all it said it would be and more. We every much enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the tranquility of the woods. We couldn't have asked for better weather while there. We highly recommend this cottage to everyone.

What an amazing place!!! The pics were spot on. Super clean and well appointed. We have stayed in several vrbo over the years and this was by far the best you could want. The outdoor patio was amazing! If this place is available you should book it! amazing and so peaceful

Overall we loved the property. This was our second time to Broken Bow, but first time staying here. Location is good, but road leading to it could cause some issues for smaller vehicles. Once inside, we were met with an open and inviting layout that was spotless. There are a few things we didn’t like once we got to the patio. First, the furniture is extremely uncomfortable. The second is that with the neighboring properties so close, there isn’t much privacy if wanting to sit outside and enjoy the day or if you want to relax in the hot tub. There are a lot more positives than negatives for sure. Don’t shy away if you’re looking for a nice romantic get away.

Really great cabin that is pet friendly and has everything you need for a great vacation. Sits on a nice pond that we really enjoyed. This was our second stay at this cabin and we will book this same cabin in the future. The host is very helpful and accommodating. Can’t go wrong with this cabin! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

The cabin was one of the cleanest, I’ve ever stayed in. Every need was thought of. We used the firepit every day and it was the perfect setting to relax, recharge, and unwind. I really didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be back.
