The house just wasn't clean it was full of dog hair. All over the beds as well as the furniture. There was a weird smell throughout the home and some of the stairs were busted which resulted in me falling down the last 4 going into the basement . The location was awesome , The views were great , i loved the hot tub and porch swing but they didn't make up for how dirty the cabin was.

Customer service was great with Aunt Bugs rentals. The cabin needs some serious updating. The cleaning crew is awful. There were 2 piles of dog poop on the back porch, the laundry doors are off the tracks and makes horrible metal scraping noises when trying to open them. I woke up the whole house trying to open them. The celling fans are disgusting! The floors squeek SO bad and if you sleep down stairs, its SO loud it wakes those people up anytime someone walks around upstairs. There was trash and old chairs etc in the woods behind the cabin. The hot tub didn't work when we arrived, I messaged Aunt bugs, we reset the breaker outside and it worked for one day, then quit again! Then when trying to flip the breaker again it never worked after that, we gave up! This was disappointing as we specifically looked for a cabin with a hot tub. There are loose and missing railings on the second floor porch which made it scary for our toddler to be out there. All beds are hard except for the lower full size bunk mattress. The stairs! They are so narrow/short your whole foot doesnt fit on one tread. They were scary for sure! This place you can tell is neglected and just rented and never updated. Wouldnt stay here again but would recommend Aunt Bugs.

Would not recommend to anybody. It says that they accommodate for people they have five forks we had 11 people stay with us. The couch mattresses had to be changed because it was so disgusting. We found roachs on our first night. When I called they said they move in when the weather gets cold but someone else said they stay in July and they had roach as well.then on the last night, they completely removed the code from the app for me to be able to get into the house. be careful going up and down the stairs to the basement and the upstairs master bedroom because I didn’t fix the stairs that are completely broken and I did tell him about that too. they also said everything was fixed, but it wasn’t. The refrigerator doesn’t sell very well, so your food’s probably gonna go bad if you stay longer than a couple nights. I guess I really do take their name very seriously anti-bugs. 100% would not recommend and make sure you stay away from these company.

Overall nice property with room for 8 ppl. Does have 2 levels of stairs; upstairs master and basement with game room and bunks. Cleanliness could be a little better. Is a musty smell from outside shadiness.

Unfortunately, this cabin was not clean. Toilet paper was still on the plunger and and on the floor around the toilet of the upstairs bathroom. Decorative pillow on the upstairs bed had a blood stain. There were dead bugs squashed to the wall still stuck with streaks of bug juice/blood throughout the cabin. Roaches made their presence known downstairs. Dead bugs were found upstairs in the loft around the bed as well as live bugs in the kitchen and kitchen table. The door to the downstairs bathroom unable to open/close without a secret way and strength making us go through the bedroom to get to that bathroom. How is there no door to the bathroom upstairs? There should be a door installed for privacy. Unworking appliances. For the price of this cabin, it was not up to par and needs some work and a very thorough cleaning! Would not recommend this cabin as it stands.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. We had 5 adults and 5 kids and found it to be the perfect amount of space. We were centrally located for great hiking, visits to town and day trips to Dollywood. We enjoyed purses!

The cabin was easy to find the pictures look like the online version, but the cleaning crew needs to be monitored to ensure that the next occupants are pleased with what they see. Now the bedroom on the first floor, when we went to the closet to try to get a blanket, and everything was just shoved into the closet. The ironing board was not fully closed so it was jammed in the closet, there were blankets or comforters just thrown in the closet, the rack where the clothes should hang were on the floor. There were coat hangers just thrown in the closet. You could see the dust on the headboard. You could sit on the bed facing the bathroom and you could see the dirt around the rim of the toilet. There were no stoppers for the bathtubs. There were no stoppers for the sinks, only one remote, maybe two worked in the cabinet. Now the cabinet itself was fine, but I’m saying that the cleaning crew should have noticed no stoppers for the bathroom no stoppers for the sink. We had three remotes with no batteries Now when I called or texted to let them know the issues we were having they were right on it. I mean they responded. Every time I called. They brought me stoppers for the sink and the bathtubs. They’ve even brought batteries for the remote, but the remotes didn’t work the television. These are just a minor things that I saw. I just think the crew that’s cleaning needs to be more attentive to the property before the next guest arrive.

Super clean and inviting, the kids loved downstairs and really enjoyed the hot tub. We even saw a few bears the very last night we were there! It was amazing, definitely would lile to return to the same cabin next trip. It has its quirks like a good old cabin should but it really was an amazing week there!

The hot tub kept kicking the breaker, the spindles on the deck need to be repaired before a child falls through them. The bed upstairs was lopsided. We found dog feces in the basement. Had trouble with the code the last sat

No dishwasher tabs, shower curtain liner upstairs was ripped. The floors were dirty, cob webs were everywhere. The hot tub was great! There was no blinds on the front door window so anyone could’ve seen in the door. The lights downstairs didn’t work right. Upstairs bathroom needs a door. The deck needs replaced and the guard rails were missing so any child could have fallen through it. Bed upstairs is shot. Slats are broke underneath the mattress. Chairs aren’t sturdy in the dining room. Needs a new couch and love seat.

We stayed at the Virgil Cabin. The “other room” with the five beds is in a sort of basement but there’s natural lighting with the door to a balcony outside of it. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels for everyone. We used the hot tub which was a welcome assistance to our sore muscles from our hiking adventures. Getting to the Smoky National Park was a 30 min drive and Gatlinburg was about 15-20. We were also a little slower than the average car though since we drove in a 15-seater van which was quite terrifying to get to the cabin during the dark and rain since there are quite a few winding loops and steep hills to get to our cabin. Our only complaint was that the 5-person room was significantly colder than the other floors, so would recommend bringing or asking for extra blankets if you get cold easily.

Recently stayed here on a short weekend vacation with my sister's family and our family together. There was plenty of room at this cabin to spread out. The upstairs bedroom is more of a loft and open to the below. The hot tub was nice to soak in after a long day out. There were plenty of signs warning of bears in the area. The final day as we were loading up the car had one visit and take the cooler that was outside for a few minutes, be mindful of your surroundings outside. We were pretty careful and this happened when we were loading up. Great cabin and really enjoyed the stay.
