Perfect location and size for our family. The cabin had all we needed for our weekend stay. However, the deck railing is a bit dodgy in areas and the milk crate step for the hot tub is a hazzard. Hot tub was an added bonus after being out all day. LOVED the fact that there is no cell service at the cabin. It allows you to unplug and completely relax. No worries for the kiddos, wifi was excellent. Cabin is right off the road with a steep hill just passed. Be careful with young children as other vehicles tend to fly up and down the road. All in all, great stay!
We had a wonderful time. This cabin is just as expected. It is very comfortable and was just perfect for our family of 4. Only thing I would mention is that it could have been cleaner. I accidentally dropped my phone on the the brown couch and it was extremely dirty as were some of the dishes. Just needs a little extra attention. we still absolutely loved it!
We didn't use the hot tub at all that was on the deck, but the rest of the property was enjoyable. It was very peaceful and quiet, with a firepit off to the side where you could grill or cook out. There is a small fixed charcoal grill and a fire pit. We wanted to cook over the fire pit directly, and there was not a grill for that. The small charcoal grill was attached and we couldn't relocate it for our needs. We ended up coming up with an alternate plan, but it would have been nice if there was a larger grilling surface for use on the pit. There is a coffee maker, but no coffee filters or supplies. Providing a small selection of k-cups is pretty standard in Air-BnB rentals, so that would have been nice. Nobody wants to buy a new set of coffee filters that might not fit their coffee maker at home. The same goes for paper towel rolls. We ended up buying one and leaving it at the property for the next people, along with a long extension lighter for the property. The toilet paper was 1-ply stuff. All in all, the property was nice but cutting corners on several smaller, simple things kept it from being a better experience.
Enjoyed our 5 night stay in this quiet cabin.
Cars flew past the cabin. People would stop in front of the cabin and pick rocks out of the creek. The toilet constantly ran. And there were dirty panties that were left. The deck was dry rotting and dirty. Bugs in the window seals didn’t seem to be cleaned very well.
