We were in Tellico for a family reunion. We've been making this trip for over 50 years. So it's a big deal when I say that this is the nicest, cleanest, best equipped home we have ever stayed in. It was so fantastic to be so secluded (like you were in your own tree house), yet still be close to town and to the Tellico River. This house lacks nothing, and most importantly it was perfectly clean. We already have other family members who saw it during our visit who plan to try to scoop it from us next year. The owner/host was perfectly attentive to us, and answered any questions we had. What a wonderful experience! STAY THERE! You'll be glad you did.
I was searching for a comfortable log cabin for my family to spend time together when I found this beautiful cabin in the mountain area that was perfect for us. In my younger years the Tellico River was my favorite river to kayak so I knew I found the right place. The cabin was very clean and well maintained, I would recommend to anyone searching for a comfortable getaway.
We actually were able to enjoy this cabin over Thanksgiving and for the Christmas holidays. We love it here. Can’t wait to come back. Mrs. Kime.
My family and I stayed here a couple of years ago and had such a wonderful time that we decided to come back. Patti has made some beautiful upgrades to the kitchen and bathrooms. The cabin is gorgeous, clean and comfy. We enjoyed exploring the area and stopping by Tellico Grains Bakery. Don't hesitate to book Patti's cabin. You will love it.
My son was visiting a camp not to far away from the home. We are from NY and I didn’t want to be to far away. The home to my surprise was much nicer in person. I’ve rented many homes in different states and I would say this was the cleanest, nicest home yet. You feel like your in a cabin in the mountains yet come down the long driveway and you have everything you need close by. If you love the outdoors then this is the place for you. Plenty of hiking, numerous waterfalls, overlooks, drive the skyway is a must. Not to far from winery, underground lake cave and famous Benton’s smokehouse where I shipped some goods home. Very relaxing after I’d get some work done in the AM before venturing out. Had strong signal everywhere in the house and the wrap around deck to work. I have Verizon and I could sit outside on an Adirondack chair with my laptop no issues. Once you out hiking or driving up the mountains there’s no service but it was exactly what I needed!! Thank you Patti, we will definitely be back next year.
Stayed with partner, son and family friends. Place was great. Furnishings were extraordinary for a Vacation Rental. Lots of items in the cupboards. Wrap around decks and views were excellent. Location was great for seclusion but challenging to make plans with people we were meeting due to lack of cell service (T Mobile) . Internet in cabinet worked great to allow other methods of communication. Patti was great to work with. Highly recommend.
Just far enough away to enjoy the peace and quite
This property is extremely Ahhmazig. It is all it was said to be and then some. It had everything needed to make an extended stay comfortable. It is situated up high and secluded yet was close to stores and restaurants. Visits to the waterfalls, lakes, hiking trails and restaurants are a must do. Although, we preferred staying at the cabin relaxing with the wrap around porch, outdoor fire pit, cooking on the grill and lighting the fireplace and sipping wine while watching a movie. Only downfall was that the lower level rooms can hear the upper level and vice versa but that's OK the beauty of the wood work and pitter pat of rain on the tin roof made up for that. We definitely will be returning. Patti, the owner, was very helpful and attentive to our needs and concerns which (there were absolutely none) we had a joyful, relaxing, adventurous time.
Visiting family for the first time in a year so we needed a clean, comfortable place to spend time and catch up. We really enjoyed this very clean and updated property. The driveway was easy to navigate and some of our party have mobility issues so we loved that getting into the house was very easy - only a couple steps. The downstairs bedrooms were a little difficult to maneuver in but we managed. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were lots of thoughtful touches everywhere. It was our first time in the Tellico Plains area and we would like to come back and visit again someday!
My 90 year old father, 3 sisters and I stayed here in June 2021 for our annual Dad's and daughters weekend! The home was large, beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The wrap around porch, completed with rocking chairs, gas firepit and an AWESOME outdoor table (handcrafted from Everhart Lumber*) gave us hours of enjoyment! Our host Patti, was very friendly and easily accessible when we had questions, before and during our stay. She is a great decorator, and made sure everything is perfect for her guests. She has many beautiful, custom crafted items in her home from Everhart Lumber* and Furnishings in Telico (put their showroom on your must see list while in the area, you won't regret it). Trust me, you won't be disappointed, if you stay here! We plan to return, someday!
