Our time was amazing.
I loved this cabin! So cozy, clean and cute! We really enjoyed it!
Perfect place to refresh your soul
Great place to stay for our visit to the giant Sequoias!!
Gorgeous home built in 1944 and updated beautifully. There is everything you need for a perfect stay. Great area with friendly locals and beautiful scenery. Super great host. Highly recommeded
Enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It almost takes you back in time, just a bit, but has everything you need in the present day. You may need to come prepared with soap, shampoo and creamer (if you’re that kind of person). Other than that everything else is provided for. Would definitely love to come back!
Lovely cabin. We had a great time!
Very clean, well maintained cabin with beautiful location! Will definitely stay here again!
Wonderful cabin. Great upgrades and kitchen was well equipped.
Our second time staying at Clover Cabin. Quiet, cozy, and very relaxing.
Built in 1944, this cabin is the perfect complement of modern conveniences with vintage charm, delighting us with nostalgia. The location is wonderful and Camp Nelson neighbors are friendly and helpful. What can I say about the hammock? Heaven to read a book under the pines, with a gentle babble of two creeks converging below. While we were quite devastated by the ravages of long-term drought and multiple fires in the forests surrounding it and beyond, Camp Nelson was happily spared and is an oasis of peace. The artful details throughout the cabin are evidence of the love and care for this special place.
The property was beautiful very clean and comfortable for us. We enjoyed it very much. We definitely would go back again!! Thank you so much for making this trip so awesome for us ?
Best forest Best cabin Best everthing
We loved our stay at Clover Cabin! First time in this part of California and we made memories to last a lifetime. TV was a bit antiquated but it did nothing to ruin our stay. Kids, you know. Suggest bringing DVD content for children if they are with you!
Cabin was excellent. Location could not have been better. So many nice touches in cabin and communication was timely and responsive. Perfect in every way!
This cabin exceeded my expectations. Beautiful decks with trees growing right through them, a wonderful little brook, all modern amenities but still a cabin. Two days is not enough. Can’t wait to return.
Property just as described. Had everything we needed. The location is very quiet. Stacy was awesome to work with.
This cabin and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The cabin is very comfortable and tasteful, and equipped with everything you could need. A lot of the surrounding forests unfortunately are heavily damaged by fire, but the cabin is still surrounded by large healthy trees.
You can tell this cabin was built before modernization but it has been lovingly decorated and really well maintained. The owners have done everything possible to make it cozy, but without central heat it can be cool in the winter. Plenty of space heaters and very cozy bedding are a plus. We were not able to enjoy the spacious deck because it snowed 6” in April!
I confess that I’m hesitant to describe the extent with which my family of 4 plus dog enjoyed this cabin because I’m afraid it’ll always be booked in the future but, in all fairness, I will post this review as an appreciation to the hosts and also all the previous families who helped us decide to choose Clover Cabin with their reviews. This cabin is truly a special place and I’m so glad we had the opportunity to experience it’s beauty and comfort! There is a picture of the cabin on the listing which made me concerned that cabins at Camp Nelson might be built right next to each other (this was our first time there) but I was happy to discover that the picture shows a part of the unattached garage and it was wonderful to find that there is plenty of space and privacy. We enjoyed the many large windows which provide great outdoor views and we had fun admiring the variety of clocks, lamps and furniture. The deck is by far larger than I imagined and the creek is lovely. We enjoyed the design of the kitchen/ dining area but our dog couldn’t get enough of sleeping near the cozy fireplace and was happiest when we kept her company there. There is no question that this is the kind of place that is good to visit when you need to get away from busy city life and get recharged and refreshed! We applaud the efforts of these hosts because we are sure it is hard work maintaining such a nice property in the forest and we also acknowledge Stacy the Property Manager who reached out to us before our trip and made sure to check in on us. Personally, I think that anyone looking for this type of getaway will greatly appreciate what Clover Cabin has to offer!
