The Cabin (Sleeps 5)

1,000 sq. ft. off-grid mountain retreat

Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): Queen bed

Bedroom 2 (Loft): 350 sq. ft. loft with a Queen bed + Twin bed (accessed via ship’s ladder )

Bathroom 1: Full bath with shower (downstairs)

Bathroom 2: Half-bath (downstairs)



Loft Access Notice: The ship’s ladder provides incredible views but may not be suitable for all guests. If mobility is a concern, the downstairs bedroom is a great alternative.

Getting Here – Read Before Booking!

The Cliffhouse is a true off-grid experience, and the drive in is part of the adventure!



✅ Vehicle Requirements:

✔ A vehicle with clearance is required.

✔ 4WD/AWD is helpful but NOT required.



Absolutely No:

✘ Sedans, coupes, or minivans

✘ Low-clearance vehicles



Road Conditions:

✔ 5 miles off Highway 259 on rocky U.S. Forest Service roads

✔ First 2 miles: Easy drive (~25 mph)

✔ Last 3 miles: Slower, rocky and bumpy roads with 4-5 small creek crossings (water rarely over 4 inches)

✔ Steep grades (up to 12%) as you ascend the mountain

Starter Supplies Provided

We provide a starter set of essentials to help you settle in:

• 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom

• 2 rolls of paper towels

• Trash bags

• Hand soap pump at each sink

• 10 oz. Dawn dish soap

• 1 dishwashing washable cloth (no sponges)

• 2 dish towels + 2 bar mop towels

• 1 bath towel + 1 washcloth per guest

• 2–3 hand towels depending on stay length

• Laundry detergent (if washer/dryer is available)


Note: These are starter quantities only and may not last your entire stay.

✔ Starlink WiFi (Speeds may vary; not for heavy streaming.)

✔ Cell service best with Verizon & AT&T (Sprint/T-Mobile limited)

No TVs or cable—pre-download movies before arrival.

Boats, Trailers & ATVs

No boats or trailers—roads are too rugged! Rent a slip at Beavers Bend Marina.

✅ ATVs welcome—ride straight into Ouachita National Forest (Check USFS regulations).

Pet Policy

• Max 2 dogs (no cats)

• $150 pet fee per stay

• Dogs must be crated if left unattended

• No pets on furniture or beds

• Excessive pet hair or undeclared pets will result in additional cleaning charges

House Rules

• Check-in: 4:00 PM

• Check-out: 11:00 AM

• Max occupancy: 5 guests

• No parties or events

• No smoking or vaping indoors

• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

• Septic system in use—flush toilet paper only

• No use of fire pit or grill during local burn bans
