There are two fire pits at Chimney Mountain. One fire pit is in the center of the common area where the cabins are located. There's also a community game room by the fire pit that includes a pool table, foosball table and darts for our guests to enjoy. Each cabin also has rocking chairs and a gas BBQ grill on the covered front porch. Hot tubs are under cover, and perfectly situated at either the rear or side of the cabins!

Everything was as advertised. Great location.
I liked there was a basement that could bascially sleep 3 people even 4 with one on the couch. The half bath and sink were nice. We really loved the hottub and you can tell they clean it very well and they clean the place very nicely too. The stairs to the downstairs is spiral and as cool as it looks it was just tedious. The rooms were ok but the bathroom and toilet areas were very tight so if you're claustrophobic this wouldn't sit well for using the toilet and the sink. If you plan to cook at the cabin, bring all your own seasoning including oil or you can go to Bettys Grocery about 15mins away and it's very nice in there. We didn't get to enjoy the firepit which was a bummer. The one with the slides looked very nice but not wood there and it closed at dusk so maybe that's a summer thing? The other one was closer to one of the other cabins and it seemed like we would be intruding. The neighbors were quiet and it was nice. I would stay there again for a longer time as it was overall very nice and peaceful and only 15mins from town. It was so easy communicating with the rental owners. I will suggested though getting the room door to the queen bedroom fixed as it doesn't just open and it was a hassle to have to walk around or use the door to the next bedroom. It's like your trying to kick a doordown just to get outside, is how hard it was to open and we were able to open it 2 during our whole stay. Otherwise I'm pretty happy. Paved roads all the way back would be nice too
