Getting around from Chickadee Cabin is easy and convenient. Located just 5 minutes from downtown Whitefish, you’re a quick drive to restaurants, shops, and local attractions.



We recommend having a vehicle for the most flexibility, especially if you plan to explore Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Resort, or surrounding areas like Kalispell and Bigfork.



Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are available in the area, though they can be limited at times. There are also local taxi services if needed.



In the winter months, we recommend a vehicle with AWD or 4WD, as snow and icy conditions are common.

Whether you're heading into town or out on an adventure, Chickadee Cabin makes it easy to get where you want to go.



Other Things to Note:

The cabin is equipped with a mini split system for heating and cooling. While it provides comfortable temperature control, it is not a full central AC system.

There is a main house on the property with a long-term renter. Outdoor areas are shared, though the cabin has its own designated space for privacy.

The property is set in a quiet, residential area, so we ask guests to be respectful of noise, especially in the evenings.

Wildlife is common in Montana—it's not unusual to see deer or other animals nearby, so please be mindful when outside.

This space is designed to offer a peaceful, comfortable stay while embracing the natural surroundings of Whitefish.



Interaction with Guests:

We like to give guests space to relax and enjoy their stay, but we’re always available if you need anything. You’ll have full privacy in the cabin, with easy self-check-in and a seamless experience throughout your stay.



There is a long-term renter in the main house on the property. She is friendly and respectful, and you may see her around the yard or outside, she’ll most likely say hello, but otherwise keeps to herself.
