This cabin was very charming and comfortable. We had such a relaxing 4 days. It was everything we expected.
Although there were other houses nearby, we felt secluded because there were plenty of trees to separate you from others.
It was our second time at the Fox Den Cabin. We enjoy the peace & quiet. You need a new Guest Book tho. And the table on the porch is a little wobbly but that's no big deal. A TV guide channel (or sheet) would be nice too but not necessary. Thanks for a wonderful get away!
It was very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed it very much
The cabin was just what we needed. We spent the days just wandering through the mountains and the nights snuggled on the porch and couch. We would definitely recommend the FOX DEN to our friends.
We had an amazing trip and the cabin was perfect!!
We always look for a place to get away to the mountains in the fall but this year did not have as much time to get to places in Tennessee we love. We looked on VRBO and found this listing in NC and it was so cute and had plenty of room for the two of us. The cabin was very clean and the rocking chairs on the porch were amazing, the hot tub was as well. There were other cabins around it but no super clear views with the trees so it was still semi private and was super quiet. It was so nice listening to nature while gazing up at the stars from the hot tub. The only draw back at all was the comfortable memory foam matress was higher in the middle than each sleeping side so made you feel a little like you were rolling toward the edge of the bed but its only like that as the places people sleep are not in the middle of the bed. It was still much more comfortable than the new hotel we stayed in on the way there so I definitely would return again.
It was very good...all was quiet and enjoying
Cabin was in a beautiful location! Very clean and all amenities too. We loved the wrap around porch and the fact our dogs were allowed to stay here too. Highly Recommend. Will Return
We really enjoyed our stay at the fox den. It was the perfect size for for us and had everything we needed for the long weekend. We enjoyed being able to hike during the day and go to the casino at night. We were easily able to get taxis to the casino and will definitely be back!
This was an absolutely amazing cozy cabin tucked back in the woods but really close to local stores and restaurants my wife and I loved it.
My husband and I enjoyed our short getaway at Fox Den. Nice clean cabin for two and fairly easy to get to if you follow the directions that are given.
Beautiful property! Hot tub was clean and wonderful! Cute little cabin, cozy bed, it was perfect for my husband and I on our honeymoon!!
Finding the property was a nightmare! Finally used Google maps which we were told would get us lost, and went right to it. We were on motorcycles, there needs to be a warning about the steep gravel roads. Animal feces all around the place, stepped in it several times in the dark The smell was horrible. Shower drain was stopped up and would barely drain. Roaches. The hot tub had scum all over the sides and on the filter as well as floating on the water. Definitely will not be back and hate I wasted that much money on a place that looked much bigger in the pictures and wasn't cleaned properly before our arrival
Neighbors are closer than the pictures depict, but the cabin itself is excellent. Everything worked well, and was very clean. Location is centrally located; Cherokee, Bryson City, Maggie Valley, and Waynesville are a short drive, and Gatlinburg and Asheville are about an hour away.
Amazing stay. I just hate it didn’t last longer. Loved the secluded area, the quiet nature, the scenery, and the cleanliness. Only downfall was that there was no tv in the bedroom (my partner sleeps with a tv on). It was pure perfection and I look forward to booking again at some point!!!
Stayed at this cute little quaint cabin for the 4th of July. Cabin was clean. It was really quiet and peaceful being there. Hot tub was amazing! Great to relax in. Be aware that the last little trek past the last two cabins on the right you need to be prepared for a running start. It’s a hump and not friendly to turn around once up there. It is manageable though. If you ride a motorcycle or pull behind on trailer that’s not going to be feasible, we left ours over at other families place bcus of this. So heads up on that. And our phones took us straight to the cabin on our gps. Bed is not comfy for a few nights stay. Would invest in pillow top or something soft. Overall great place and time there.
Everything was as expected. I would stay here again.
Muddy because of constant rain, Needed wi-fi get laptop connected for stock market play. Lost money by not being connected. Probably will not rent again because of no internet connection
Perfect spot for a couple to vacation! Off of the beaten path and away from the busyness and noise of the touristy areas and also sheltered from view of distant surrounding homes. Would stay agian!
Our 2nd time at the Fox Den Cabin was just as enjoyable as our first (July 2020). Thank you for sharing your home with us.
