Charming, Eco-Friendly Cabin Retreat, Heart of Deep Creek

We had a wonderful stay this weekend at this adorable and well-appointed cabin! It had incredible amenities to make a family of 5 very comfortable in between skiing, snow-tubing and hiking. We enjoyed the scenery in the woods with the fire pit and lighting. Will definitely be back!

Stayed for 2 nights, Cozy and beautiful! The scenery was beautiful, seen a lot of deer, very quiet and peaceful! Had fun with my girls on my rip to my last name bachelorette weekend.

Everything was perfect! Just as we wanted, communication was always on time.

The cabin was truly charming and eco-friendly, also perfectly quiet and blended in the nature.It was very clean, the kitchen well stocked, all the instructions straightforward.

This cozy cottage was filled with many details missing from other cabins we’ve rented. Art, vignettes and lots of lighting options! We also loved the outdoor area filled with boulders, lighting, bottom and fire pit. The owners also accommodated a request without extra charge. We also enjoyed the restaurants they recommended, Moonshadow where they have live music. We enjoyed exploring the area with the large Deep Creek lake sourrounded by mountains.

An amazing property. Beautiful views of the water from the first floor. Fantastic communal space and kitchen. Hot tub was great. Felt remote. Easy to get to. Super close to fun things to do and wisp. Bedrooms were well sized and the beds were very comfy. I wouldn't change a thing and we're looking forward to coming back next year.

Cute cottage! We loved seeing all the wildlife from the deck. Everything was clean and comfortable. It has a well-stocked pantry (nice surprise). The cottage was private but also close enough to attractions.

What a wonderful cabin! We were traveling for my son’s baseball tournament. This is a hidden gem! We loved everything about this place. So quiet! The kids enjoyed making smores and watching the deer. Such a wonderful place!

The rustic log cabin has charm and character. It was the perfect hideaway to chill and recharge. We never really left the property except to go to the store and get firewood. We loved everything about this place. The hot tub and firepit rocked. Dale was amazing, always just a call away. We are already talking about planning our next booking here. THANK YOU!

The landscaping was so pretty with lots of wild life to watch. The house is rustic but clean. Be aware, if you are older or have knee problems, the inside stairs are very steep. There are outside stairs that are normal but unfortunately it was cold and rainy while we were there. It was a relaxing getaway.

We had a lovely time at this rustic cabin near Wisp resort. The house was incredibly cozy and well stocked and the hottub was fantastic in the evening. We had easy access to the Wisp resort for skiing and tubing. Grocery stores were close by. Dale was incredibly helpful and communicative and even though we had to cut our stay short because of an impending snow storm, we had a terrific time and would definitely stay again!

This cabin is the coziest retreat, nestled right in the middle of the woods. We loved the warm lighting and the relaxed, inviting vibe it created. After a full day of skiing, coming back to the cabin’s warmth—and unwinding in the hot tub—was perfect. The owners have thoughtfully stocked the kitchen with everything you might need, and the space is tidy and well-kept.Now, the reason I didn’t give a perfect 10: I highly recommend investing in a dishwasher. Considering the rental income, it’s a reasonable upgrade that would make a big difference. As I washed dishes, I couldn’t be sure if previous guests had thoroughly cleaned them, and reusing the same sponge was less than ideal.Additionally, the hot tub water appeared murky and could use some muriatic acid for p balance. I say this as someone who owns both a pool and a hot tub. It didn’t bother the kids, but it’s something to consider for maintenance.On the entertainment side, the DirecTV channel selection was great! However, when we tried to watch Mrs. Doubtfire, the picture was in black and white with no sound. A larger TV would also be a great upgrade—perhaps something to keep in mind for a Black Friday deal.Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and these are just a few suggestions to keep the cabin competitive in such a hot market. We’d definitely come back!

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Located very close to wisp resort. The hot tub was the a great touch to all the snow we received. The cabin gave a very cozy feel and accommodated all our needs. I was really excited to use the outdoor fire pit, and it appeared to be an excellent evening spot to enjoy some wine or roast marshmallows, but unfortunately due to all the snow we were unable to use it this time. Will be back!

This cozy cabin has it all! Great location near all area attractions, well appointed kitchen and stocked essentials, and an amazing deck/hot tub/fire pit area. We loved being nestled in the woods, relaxing in the cabin, and trying out local places to eat. Plenty of room for the five of us (including a toddler), with comfortable furnishings. If you want a clean, quiet, and relaxing stay, and a host who truly cares about their property and guests, this place is for you!

Starting with the most amazing communication from our host Dale to the cleanest most equipped cabin full of games beautiful rustic lighting extremely cozy and did I say clean very clean and organized. My big family and I created the most amazing memories that will last a lifetime. I can not wait to visit again.

Our family trip this year by far has been my favorite because of this wonderful cabin. The most perfect setting while it was snowing and being able to enjoy the place entirely. My family really enjoyed our short stay. Owners are so kind and very helpful whenever I reached out. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway.

We had such a fun and comfy stay at Dale's place! She is a great host and the cabin is so full of character, with tons of games, books and movies available for use. The place was spotless and the kitchen and pantry were both fully stocked with pretty much any item you could need (even marshmallows to toast over the firepit!). Super cute and very warm and cozy - it has a secluded feel to it, yet is very close to many activities. My kids absolutely loved it. This one is for sure a keeper...we will be back. Our group of 4 had a very relaxing and comfortable stay in the Charming Cabin! The detail of decor and lighting lent to the cozy cabin feel. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking meals in the fully-stocked kitchen while a cozy fire crackled in the fireplace. The backyard fire pit and seating area was perfect! Located very close to shops and restaurants, yet private and wooded for a great feel of escaping into the woods! Dale & Sean provided so many great recommendations, which helped us to get the most from our stay. What a gorgeous hike! We ended a long day of exploring roasting marshmallows around the campfire followed by a relaxing soak in the hot tub. It was a wonderful stay and we plan to return, both separately and with our families. Thank you, Dale & Sean, for your lovely accommodations!

This property does not disappoint!! What you see in the photos is exactly how this tastefully decorated cabin will look on arrival. Dale was a wonderful host. She emailed us helpful information ahead of our visit and answered our questions quickly.

A weekend away with the girls celebrating my sisters soon to be marriage! This property is beautiful. The backyard set up is gorgeous. The property owners were very quick to respond with any questions.

The cabin was perfect for our 3 night stay (me, my three boys and my friend). Bedrooms and bathroom's were lovely and clean. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. Our booking was not working at first and the host was very helpful, great communication. We LOVED the backyard. The porch was so cozy and my boys had fun playing on the rocks. We had breakfast on the porch each morning. We had a long day fire and dinner over the fire pit one day which was so fun!! The location is great and easy to find your way around!

We absolutely loved the cabin and the privacy!! Completely unplugged from our phones and social media- it was wonderful!! We’ll definitely be back!!

This is our second time staying at this property in Deep Creek. We love it here! It's a perfect getaway and location is perfect. We will definitely be back again!

Always a great time! Dale the hist always does a great job! Cabin is just rught for our needs. More traffic going by the house this year verse last year, along with dry conditions made for more dust when hanging out outside. But that is our only complaint.

We enjoyed this property so much. Super close to deep creek state park, food place, and rental places. Hot tub amd fire put were amazing and so relaxing.

Rained a little but the cabin was perfect for the 6 of us. Comfortable cozy and everything worked. back yard is awesome with the fire pit.
