Charming Cabin 300 Yards from Free Boat Launch & Swimming Area

Cute house, there were a lot of books and games to keep the kiddos entertained. Great location.

The hosts are pleasant, the property is nice, but the listing is misleading. This is a split level property. That means that four of my family members that were in the upstairs sleeping area had only access to a half bathroom and the would have to come back outside to the outside stairwell to access the full bath down stairs to shower. Not to mention the full kitchen as well. Nowhere in the listing does it say it’s a split level home and there is no access to both from inside the house. It just inconvenienced my family greatly considering it was cold during my visit. Also, must note that the surrounding neighbor has what appears to be a junk yard in the front lawn. Just to be honest here, the home was nice, but you have to be more clear and concise in your listing. The hosts were nice, the house was clean enough, and it was peaceful enough to see a deer. I’d give it 3 out 5 stars.

We had a very nice time at this wonderful place. Well stocked. Quiet. Walking distance to the lake. Even though we had to cut our trip short due to a family emergency, we still had a good time. The owner was very friendly, informative and accommodating. Would stay there again.

The cabin was wonderful. Everything advertised was there. It was clean and not difficult to find. We enjoyed our stay here, it was a great getaway!

Exactly what we'd hoped for! My daughter and I stayed here for a few days and had a great time. The cabin is lovely and comfortable, exactly as advertised. We made frequent treks down to the boat launch at the end of the road and enjoyed lounging in our yard too. You'll want to bring lots of bug spray, but that's just summer in Texas, can't be helped :)

Hosts were super responsive! Cottage had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and board games and tv kept us occupied on chilly nights. Well appointed kitchen - we cooked all of our meals here. We will absolutely be back!

Nice place to stay. They thought of everything and made my stay quite convenient and comfortable. Someone did leave a fake friend by the trash can to spark my stay!

The property is just as described. Erin and Brian sent very detailed instructions for how to find the house as well as how to use the locks. The beds and pillows were great for us - very firm mattress on the Murphy bed. The grill was nice to have. The only negative for us was that some of the plates and silverware were not cleaned very well - there was dried food stuck on them, so I had to wash all the dishes before we used them. I'm not sure if this reflects perhaps more on the previous guests who stayed here than the owners. Everything else was clean and tidy. We would stay here again if coming to fish at Sam Rayburn. Maybe next time the fishing will be better than it was this time.

Loved our stay here at the cabin! Spent the days boating at Sam Rayburn and spent the nights unwinding in the air conditioned and cozy cabin. We were impressed with the cleanliness and hospitality of the host- we had everything we needed. Thank you for hosting us, we are looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Great location, well taken care of. No problems.

We had a fabulous time celebrating the multiple April birthdays in our family. The split level was ideal for early nappers and late-night board games. The site had various areas that you could visit and congregate. My sister and husband are building nearby, and we were able to go fishing and swimming at Sam Rayburn Reservoir. We plan on using this VRBO if it is available again!

My family and I stayed at this cabin while attending a family reunion. Erin and Brian were very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin was clean and well stocked.

we absolutely loved the place and the area it is in, so peaceful and comforting ! it is a few minute drive from multiple different locations to swim and fish so it is just all around our favorite cabin we have been to !

We had a great time. Property is well kept and easy to get to, have plenty of room for your boat and even an awning to put it under. Bedrooms were upstairs and we have an older dog that can't make it up them so we slept downstairs on the foldout couch and owner ensured we had all linens for the fold out. I will definitely stay again.

It was wonderful! We had our two granddaughters with us,ages 11 and 8, they could stay upstairs with all their stuff and have fun. They loved it. The lake with a beach is pretty close. No problem. The hosts are very accommodating. You can’t go wrong with this place!
