This VRBO has some positives, for which I will give it 2.5 stars. The location is perfect for going to Ober Gatlinburg. The views are spectacular, and the home is very clean. Ample outdoor seating, hot tub, screened porch, and oversized games give the outdoors definite appeal. Be careful backing out of the narrow driveway, though!  Issues that need attention include a dishwasher that leaks, heat that distributes so unevenly that the downstairs and all living areas remain cold while the bathrooms feel like saunas, a gas fireplace that won’t light to help out with the heat situation, and a space heater has to be used to keep the children warm downstairs. The gaming room is pretty cool with the arcade games, although Ninja Turtles doesn’t work.  There is only one power strip downstairs to handle guest needs.  Suggestions for making this an ideal rental: 1Advertise it as a TWO bedroom, not three, with a gaming den that has bunk beds.2Advertise the SPIRAL staircase that must be used to get downstairs. It scared the youngest child, and she fell down them at least once, resulting in hysterical wails.3A TV in the gaming den, clearly a room for multiple kids, would go a long way in settling them down at night.4Add pot holders and towels in the kitchen…please.5Replace the living room couch, where the cushions are so worn that your legs rest on the frame, not cushion - very uncomfortable. This location is not awful, but it does need some attention. Great family cabin with everything you need. Like others have mentioned the drive up the mountain gave my suv a workout. Be on the lookout for black bears, we saw some around the property 3 out of 5 days.

The house was clean, communication was great but the house itself lacks a bit. The view isn’t really a Mountain View but it was fine. The jets in the hot tub didn’t work but it was hot at least. The furniture is incredibly uncomfortable, the sofa in the living room has seen better days and the seating in the game room is not great either. The game room is limited too because all the items are bolted to the floor so simply moving a bench to make space to get out of the bed was impossible. But again the owner was responsive, the location was good too but some improvements are needed.

Had a great last minute stay down in Gaitlinburg! Space was great for our two family’s with 7 kiddos. They enjoyed the arcade games (ninja turtles was broken) and hanging out in the hot tub. An advisory to all though is the bears! We were greeted by two adolescent bears when we arrived. Thankfully we were able to scare them away with the garden hose and get all the kids out of the cars. The night before we left we packed our car (including snacks). Unfortunately I forgot to lock the car door and we woke up to find our car doors open and our food devoured. Thankfully the bears did not do much damage to the car and pooped in the driveway. These bears clearly know where to get food. They showed no aggression but be aware!!

This place was exactly as pictured. It was clean and cozy and spacious for our family. Other than the steep hills that we weren’t prepared for the location was central to both gatlinburg and. Pigeon forge. The bears were an added touch which made for some excitement this was our first time experiencing wild life in the cabins. Over all we would definitely stay here again if Justin would have us

The property was nice with plenty of space and places to hang out. Getting there was another story all together. The roads were steep and narrow, very nerve wracking. I made sure to be back before nightfall every night, so I wouldn't have to navigate them in the dark.

Be prepared to be amazed. The drive up to house was alittle scary but the view was breathtaking. The house was a great getaway. The porch games, the arcade games, and the hot tub were all good options. Everything was great. Especially the little gazebo off from house.

I will say it was clean for a rental and the beds were comfortable, but what was pictured is definitely not what it looks like currently. There was a wooden spiral staircase not pictured at all, which had several screws sticking up on the edges. Not a huge deal, unless you have a crawling infant like we do. We didn’t feel like we could put him down even with a baby gate. The main couch was so worn that the cushions sank into the frame and no one could comfortably sit on it, which was a huge bummer as our family planned to watch movies each night, but there were not enough comfortable places to sit together. While fairly clean, it was very worn looking and seems like owners don’t take pride in keeping it looking nice (ie furniture worn and stained, paint on vanity edges that was never properly cleaned, duct taped floor vent), just kind of dingy. We made it work, but wouldn’t stay here again.

This is a beautiful little tucked away gem. We saw bears almost every day driving to the property. It's clean, comfortable and cozy. The hot tub is amazing! You really can't see much of neighbors which was nice. Tho close you're still pretty secluded from the trees there. The family all loved it and my kiddos loved the games in the rooms they slept in! I'd stay here again for sure! The beds are SO COMFY AND SOFT. I loved them and slept so good! Also very nice to have the washer/dryer because with it being sooo hot while we visited I definitely had to do a load to clean up! Ha. Our stay was wonderful! The host was fantastic at communicating with me as well when I had some questions. Perfect!
